Namsan Mountain Park Review

One of the most famous attraction in Seoul is this park and Seoul Tower on top of it. You can take Namsan Cabel Car to go to the top, return ticket price is around 10$. From top of the mountain, city view is amazing and you can catch good sunset too.

Namsan Tower is a must-visit in Seoul! The views from the top are stunning, especially at night. The cable car ride up adds to the experience, and the love locks area is a cute touch. The atmosphere is lively, with great spots for photos. There are restaurants and cafés where you can relax while enjoying the scenery. Whether you go for the city lights or a romantic sunset, it’s a perfect spot to take in Seoul’s beauty!

My daughter and I went to Seoul three times, and we stayed at the Four Points Sheraton twice. This hotel is near Namsan Park, less than 10 minutes' walk away, so we often went to the park for a walk during our stay. I was amazed when I first encountered this park. Under the shade of evergreen trees, a seemingly ancient white stone wall stood alone. The completely different style separated this park from the hustle and bustle of the city. Walking up the slope on the side of the road, the sky was blue and clear, and the black lampposts set off the white stone wall. It was very quiet around, and it seemed that the sound of air vibration could be heard, as if time had stopped. Very beautiful. At the end of the slope is an open square with several sculptures and a memorial hall, but we did not go in to visit. What is surprising is that standing on the square, you can see the N Seoul Tower standing on the top of the mountain, which seems to be close at hand, and there are climbing stairs across the square (there is a sign for the N Seoul Tower on the side of the square). Climbing up the stairs, it takes about half an hour at most to reach the N Seoul Tower (the stairs are relatively flat and easy to climb). After visiting N Seoul Tower, you can take the cable car down the mountain and then walk a few minutes to Myeongdong Walking Street. It's a great experience!

To climb Nanshan in the morning, there is a ramp at the foot of the mountain at the subway station. There are not many morning exercisers. The air is fresh, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, and the city of Seoul can be seen faintly. The mountain is not very high, stop and go to take pictures, soon to the top of the mountain, at the foot of Seoul Tower. From the other side of the mountain, there is a station, and then take back to Mingdong, or very early, eat breakfast to the next attraction.

The Nanshan Mountain in November is already red, and the scenery is beautiful! ____________ In addition to hiking, you can also take a cable car up and down the hill or take a green bus up and down the hill. I went to the morning, the cable car began to operate at 10 o'clock, so I climbed the mountain on foot. The air was fresh and my vision was wide. There are N Seoul Tower and Octagonal Pavilion at the top of the mountain. It's the place where many TV plays are filmed. It's worth a look.

I stayed in a guesthouse, which was converted from a residential building. It is not far from Myeongdong Station and can be reached in five minutes by walking up the slope. The room is small, clean, and has a private bathroom (). Behind the hostel is Namsan Park. When I went there (November 15), I saw flowers, plants and trees of various colors all over the mountain - yellow, red, green, brown - deep and shallow - very charming.

Nanshan Park, Seoul's most famous park. Here the tour guide gave 20 minutes to visit, and repeatedly warned not to go to the top of the mountain, because the time is not enough. It's not interesting to walk around Seoul for 20 minutes and see their two national heroes. In fact, the best view of Nanshan Park is on the top of the hill, which can give a bird's eye view of Seoul. There are some scenic spots on the top of the hill. Unfortunately, I didn't see them this time. I hope I can have a good time next time.
