Nexe Review

We visit Nexe every year when in the neighborhood and the new menu is excellent. We were a party of eight with starters and main courses and there was not one disappointment at the table. Highly recommended.

The food and service at Nexe are excellent but it was very quiet on a Friday evening. There was also an odd chemical smell at the rear of the restaurant noted by a few of our group. Overall very good but I had expected a busier more buzzing ambience.

Fabulous, inventive food - sitting at the chef’s table and being talked through the combination of flavours. A great evening. Highly recommended.

A really interesting menu. I shared some starter with my wife. The anchovies were excellent and the croquettes divine. My wife loved the xuixo stuffed with pork. Again my wife really enjoyed the scallops while I thought the lamb was disappointing. I just had a glass of the house wine but it was a great white Grenache from a local vineyard. This place is definitely worth a visit for foodies.

I went to Nexe for my birthday. The restaurant staff made the additional effort to explain which dishes contained dairy (as I am dairy intolerant). Certain dishes on the menu were also suitable for me without any modifications and there was a dessert which did not contain dairy which often is not considered. The dishes were creative, the atmosphere was good and the experience was enjoyable.
