Nyonya Colors Suria KLCC Review

Came here from the hotel for lunch and bought some Nyonya cakes for tea. I like Nyonya cakes made with coconut shreds and coconut milk the most. I will definitely buy coconut shreds rolls and coconut shreds sweet potato eggs when I see them. The coconut shreds rolls are not too sweet, and the coconut shreds are fresh and juicy. I regret buying only two. Although the coconut shreds sweet potato eggs are small and cute, they will still burst when you bite them! So delicious

Very interesting place, the things they sell are not usually seen, many of them are glutinous rice, desserts made of coconut milk, there are many choices, with banana leaves as embellishment, very interesting, the price is not expensive, it is worth a try

Malay Local Delights Quality of their local fare has always been above average and never waivered. It’s my go-to place for breakfast & tea time whenever I’m in KL & in the KLCC mall. A wide variety of local cakes to choose from ranging from sweet to savoury. Love their Thai mee siam, roti kirai & curry, porridge with century egg as well as their dry curry mee. It’s a clean, efficiently run cafe with so many variety of local snacks at reasonable prices. If you are new to this cafe, take a seat first to study the menu and look at the range of cakes...then when you have decided, join the queue and place your orders because some of the waiters are not too patient if you can’t make up your mind. There’s usually a short queue at the cafe.

A Malaysian restaurant, all kinds of Malay dishes are cooked in a standard way, such as nasi lemak, curry noodles, and Nyonya cake is the best. Nyonya cake tastes slightly sweet, and Malays prefer sweets. You can come here to try it when you travel. Nyonya cake looks very good.

There are a lot of quirky foods with unique tastes. Some of them I really don’t understand the meaning of and the taste is just average. I feel that some of the snacks are pretty good, but I don’t know how to appreciate the rest. The restaurant is busy and most of the customers are tourists.

There are various Malay halal foods, both salty and sweet. Each dessert is small in portion so you can try several different flavors at once. Malay desserts all have a strong coconut flavor! I like kaya toast, paired with eggs, break the eggs into a bowl, add soy sauce and pepper and stir, that's the Malaysian way to eat it!
