Another pleasant food experience in winter. The crowded building in Downtown is Patria's iron arch, not eye-catching. Narrow passages, lights up, warm and romantic in the snowy night. The dark lights of the Western-style restaurant, the walls have snowflakes and wallpapers, and the waiter performs a wine-savvy stunt at the neighboring table. Spanish food is indispensable for paella, and seafood and beef are selected. There are also many types of TAPAs, lobster, octopus, fish steak, spore kale, stunning beef bone marrow, traditional Spanish fried dough sticks and chocolate mousse are desserts. The right amount is suitable for Asian taste buds, and the atmosphere is romantic Western.

Patria is Spanish, meaning motherland or hometown. This is a Spanish restaurant that opens at 5:00 pm every day, which seems to add to the nostalgia in the night. It was once rated as one of the top ten restaurants in Toronto. It has high-end decoration, imported cheese, homemade bread and wine.

The seafood rice paella patria was very filling, and you had to wait 45 minutes to order it; the wagu beef meatball was super delicious; the croquetas de setas were perfectly fried with cheese and mushrooms; the grilled squid was better than the one at bar isabel; the dessert Leche Frita was a little too sweet. In summary, it is a restaurant I will go to again.

I ate the paella I had been craving for at Patria. I highly recommend it. I personally prefer the lobster version in Figure 1 because it has a stronger taste. The paella has real ingredients and lots of seafood. The grilled octopus tastes a bit strange, but the dessert is really delicious. I was so happy.

We had wanted to be here for a long time but in the end we were disappointed. If you want Spanish snacks, there are lots of places better than this. There are lots of fried and barbecue food on the menu. The price is quite high, especially in terms of quality and quantity - the portion is very small. We were disappointed after sharing the dishes so left before drinking - we went to the bar - and had the main course in another place. Service was terrible. The bar area was cold the curtains weren’t well connected and the hostess didn’t know how to fix it (she needed to pull it off from the top the curtains were just stuck open). The cocktail was good but we didn’t get any service. The room was nice but the execution of the waiter was terrible.

We went to Patria to taste Spanish deliciousness in the evening. The waiter was especially recommended for seafood from his hometown of PEI. I heard that we had been there and gave us a glass of champagne for free. Order a cup of Spanish fruit wine, on the exquisite cuisine, chat some far and near, wine fragrance lamp shadow, slightly returned.

If the most famous and hottest Spanish restaurant in Duocun, Patria will definitely be one of them: 2016 OpenTable Canada Best 100, 2014 Now Toronto 25 Hottest Restaurant, the Culturetrip 10 Must-Visit Restaurants in Toronto, 2013 Tronto Life Top 10 Best Restaurants...Countless awards were won, and even the bathroom was awarded to the bathroom supplier Cintas Canada in 2014. Take the best toilet list, or the only toilet in the village... The waiter said that I must not finish a small portion of Paella, that is, everything depends on his recommendation. He said that the shrimp is very good today, come to Gambas al Ajillo, that is, very traditional Spanish garlic shrimp. Parsley with olive oil smashed into sauce, garlic fried prawns, lemon also slightly heated to make the fruit acid more soft, shrimp is indeed fierce, crisp and sweet, shrimp tail fried to crisp can be chewed directly - simple classic but can not pick the wrong cooking. Since it is brunch, eat some brunch to eat: Tortilla de Patata, is a Spanish egg pancake, in fact, the potatoes and onions are fried first to remove the water, mixed into the egg liquid and fried in the pot, Patria's product outer layer of crispy oil fragrance inside soft soft, eggs eight ripe, potatoes delicate onion fragrant, hot and spicy mouth, Add the fried Iberian ham, adding a wave of chewy and salty aroma, which is still a simple basic but powerful product. The editor of the Toronto Food Squad strongly recommends this dessert: Mousse de Avellana, it is sea salt caramel dumpling mousse + chocolate skin + caramel sauce cream + Carajillo (a Spanish drink with coffee and spirits, this dessert should be brandy and very little) + icing rose petals. Sounds very complicated and sweet, the mouth is simple and normal sweetness - the crisp and bitter of the chocolate skin, the mousse's very level of air, the aroma of dumplings and chocolate, the sweetness of caramel, the slightly weaker air of cream, the aroma of coffee and a drop of bitter, the salty sea salt, Mixed together is a slightly sweet and even slightly fresh balance, plus the rose fragrance that seems to be missing, it is really good. The only thing I don't understand is why I must use frosted roses. If the fresh petals must be more fragrant, refreshing and layered. Three dishes are already very full, and quite satisfied this meal is not complicated, very conservative and classic, not amazing to the heavens but really comfortable and down to earth. Very interested in inviting people to eat the signboard Paella, also want to see how Patria interprets the grounded Spanish fried dough stick Alright, there is an excuse to come back next time.

The wine is very delicious. The mushroom pancakes are also good. But the Spanish paella is a bit different from what I eat in Spain. This rice is actually very cooked (generally the paella is raw rice, but it may be more suitable for Chinese stomach). The atmosphere is great.
