This restaurant is amazing!! So why didn't it enter the food forest recommended by Ctrip? Such a high score, much better than many other reviews! The white wine is also unexpectedly good quality, 4 euros a person~ I ordered these three for your reference~

Speaking of Portuguese cuisine, I have to criticize Spain again, haha. After arriving in Portugal, I found that the restaurants here are so delicious. We have never been to a Chinese restaurant, and our dining standards have risen sharply... (In contrast, in Spain, we are simply a Chinese restaurant explorer [Facepalm]). Let's talk about the restaurants we have eaten in Lisbon: ✅PEIXARIA DO ROSSIO Located near the Santa Justa elevator, This restaurant mainly serves seafood and various fish. We had our first Portuguese paella here. Unlike Spanish paella, Portuguese paella is very moist, similar to risotto, It contains crabs, prawns, squid, clams, mussels, etc. It is very rich in content and tastes great, not greasy at all. The rice is also fully cooked, very suitable for Chinese tastes, and it tastes much better than Spanish paella. ✅Cruzes Credo It is located on a small street next to the Cathedral of Lisbon. The shop is not big and the customers are all locals. It will turn into a bar late at night. You can still eat here after 11pm. We ordered two risottos. 👉🏻One has grilled pork chops, bacon, mushrooms and beans, and a fried egg on top, which is super fragrant. 👉🏻The other is shrimp rice, the shrimps are big and chewy, and the rice is stewed with tomatoes, carrots and parsley, with a little sourness, very appetizing, and the whole plate is finished. 👉🏻In addition, I ordered a dessert, chocolate cake with pomegranate seeds, apple sauce and cream, which tastes very good. ✅Bistro gato pardo It is very close to the hotel where I live, next to Vincent Church, in the winding alleys of the old town. Walking in, it's like being in the living room of a local Lisbon family. It's decorated with a family atmosphere. There are even local guests doing homework with their children here. 👉🏻Ordered the fried cod, which is a must-try in Portuguese cuisine. The Portuguese method uses smoked cod, The meat is firmer and has a unique smoked flavor. 👉🏻The other dish is prawn pasta, The seasoning is still the classic Portuguese style, The rich taste is a little sour, It tastes appetizing. Good value no nonsense food. Just the reason why you come to Lisbon. Generous portions - beware! Sit in the main dining room rather than downstairs.

We really enjoyed the dish of fish and seafood we ordered, everything was made perfectly, the side dish of vegetables was also great.

We just had a great experience at Peixaria do Rossio. We requested outdoor seating and arrived early to find our table already waiting for us. We got drenched in a sudden downpour on the walk to the restaurant but our table was by a heater and under a canopy that kept us dry and comfortable. The food was so delicious and the service so prompt and friendly that we mostly forgave the member of our party who insisted we walk instead of take a cab in the downpour. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared - the tuna, salmon, and especially the octopus. We would definitely eat here again if we had an opportunity.
