Very cool park with an easy hike. Nice beaches/coves to stop off at along the way - saw some monitor lizards, snakes, monkeys and jellyfish. Monkey beach is good fun, very pretty and has good food, drinks and calm water for swimming/paddling in. Tide comes in so don’t wait too long before walking back - boat service is offered to go back but for more money.

This is my 2nd time visiting Taman Negara Pulau Pinang aka Penang National Park.Fees: RM10 for locals and RM50 for foreignersHiking route to Monkey Beach still close, therefore we can only hike to Kerachut Beach. Before entering the hiking area, there are some stalls promoting speed boat to come back to entrance area from Kerachut beach. Me and my friend decided to take speed boat back, cost us RM100 for 2 of us. (If you choose to stop at Monkey Beach have to add RM20) It took us about 1-1.5hours to reach the beach area. The route is not so hard and we enjoyed it very much.Kerachut beach area is nice, we chill under the tree for a-bit until we go to take the speed boat at booked time.Overall, it’s pretty cool place to visit!

Penang National Park is located in the northwest corner of the island. It takes bus 101 from Komtar Bus Station to the last stop, an hour's drive. The park is free and accessible as long as personal information is registered at the entrance. Visitors are very few, basically foreign tourists, very comfortable. The park can be visited for about five to six hours, divided into two roads, the top of the hill and the beach. Most visitors still choose the beach. Park roads are very primitive, almost on the basis of tropical rainforests stepped out of a road, must wear a pair of walking shoes, and at any time pay attention to the surrounding snakes or lizards. It takes nearly an hour to get to the beach, but the beach is still very nice, with few people and clean water, and the sea breeze is very comfortable. The return bus is not the place to get off, but you can wait for the bus to get to the terminal before changing.

I really want to give a thumbs up to this one. Although it is not recommended by Ctrip and is not on the list, it is much better than the Aman Island that ranks in the top few. Because Ctrip did not recommend it, there are very few Chinese people. There are Monkey Beach and Turtle Beach. We took our kids to Monkey Beach. It is not as sunny as Turtle Beach. It is also very fast to take a boat. It is very fun for children. For adults, the sand and sea view here are much better than Batu Ferringhi.

The National Park is located in the northwest of Penang Island. It was formerly the Pantai Aceh Forest Reserve. After the 1970s, the government began to consider the suggestions of environmental protection organizations and listed the forest reserve as a national park. Although it is the smallest national park (about 2,000 hectares), the ecological environment and natural scenery inside are quite charming.

Penang National Park is farther away than Badutin. It is said to be the smallest national park in the world. Although it is small, it has everything like other subtropical seaside parks. Without admission tickets, you must register before entering the park. After registration, the staff will give you a map and a paper that looks like a permission to enter the park.

If you''re up for a walk, it''s really nice!! If you wanna go to this place, make sure of 2 things. First, check the weather for sure and if it''s getting rainy, it''s not really worth it in my opinion cause there''s almost 1-hour walk through the forest to the turtle beach. Seconed, make sure you''re ok to walk for almost an hour (a bit more or less depending on your speed)! It may get a little tyring but we got used to it really soon and really enjoyed the forest walk. Turtle beach is really beautiful but it''s not allowed and not safe to swim there. If you wanna swim you''re gonna have to take a boat to take you to the monkey beach which we did but I think it wasn''t as beautiful as turtle beach and the water didn''t seem really clean. If you wanna swim, be careful with the jelly fish cause even though it''s allowed to swim there, there are jelly fish there. All and all, I surely enjoyed my time in penang national park and its nature!
