PLANTER’S Review

It's a very high-end restaurant. The dishes are a bit Western and very exquisite. They are divided into appetizers, main courses and desserts. The desserts are just ordinary ice cream balls, not very creative. The main dish, lamb chops, is delicious.

This is a Western restaurant in Langkawi with a very good local style. You order in English, and each dish is carefully cooked and served one by one, so you don't have to worry about eating cold food. The service is also very good.

Planter's desserts have a signature dish: potted desserts, the "soil" is made of chocolate powder, which is very real and echoes the name of the store, Planter's.

Planter's restaurant is particularly retro and special tones, don't miss it! ! ! The photos are very beautiful, especially exquisite and elegant feeling, small tiles, large ceiling fans, strong Southeast Asian style is rich in front of you ～～～

Average food at best but great serviceWe were so looking forward to our meal at this highly rated restaurant but we rather disappointed with the food. Friend ordered the spring roll on the menu but it was not available! Already a bad start. Our starters - The oxtail soup was bland and the oxtails itself were chewy. My beef salad was average. Duck was cooked pink but the meat was so tough we really couldn’t eat it. The menu is vast though but all our six items chosen were really sub par. Crepes were excellent however, or should I say the sauce was divine. The crepes themselves were not cooked enough! What a disappointment. Oh well, service was great. There are many better options. Hopefully food quality improves. We won’t be back anytime soon though.
