Tamsui Red House - Located in Tamsui, it was ranked sixth in the 2001 Top 100 Historic Buildings selection. The building was originally the residence of ship merchant Li Yihe. It has the elegant name of "Daguan Building". It has a history of 120 years. It is a Victorian-style Western-style building. Like other Western-style buildings in foreign areas, it has red bricks and arches on the exterior. Features include a circular corridor and green glazed vase railings. But the interior is full of Chinese-style walls. The main building material is Suili'an stone, which is resistant to high temperatures, acid and alkali, and is warm in winter and cool in summer.
