Red Lion Oxford Review

This is a western restaurant in Oxford, not big in scale, but with a nice environment. The western food here tastes quite authentic, the service is very warm, the price is quite reasonable, and you don't have to wait for a seat. You can choose to dine here when visiting Oxford University.

Be sure to have a few drinks here, the specialty fruit drinks and wine are first-class.

Excellent service. Professional staff. The place was a little loud outdoors (Saturday night), so they found us a table inside. Very good experience.

Our waitress was very helpful when we were choosing which wine to have.She took our food order when she delivered wine and water to our table.Food arrived very quickly, starters were delicious,the mushrooms could have done with a little more flavour,trout and crab rillett was very tasty.Traditional Christmas turkey dinner arrived at the table hot and plentiful. We wernt able to have dessert as we were full up!

Went for a Sunday roast with family from out of town, however we found out once we got there that they were out of roasts. This was very disappointing. The food we did get was quite good however. As well, the facilities worked well for us with a toddler. They have a high chair and change table available making the booking much less stressful
