Restaurant Wintergarten im Maritim Hotel Dresden Review

We have been to Sunday lunch several times and it certainly won't be the last. In the restaurant with a view of the Elbe and the Japanese Palace, you feel welcome and not cramped. The varied buffet is a feast for the eyes of excellent quality and there is something for every taste. Friendly staff completes the experience. We would be happy to come back.

The buffet advertised as a fixed price was not available, instead an à la carte meal was offered. When we asked about the fixed price, no further action was taken. We had to wait three quarters of an hour for the starter. The food was of good quality, but not exactly a bargain! The need to be gluten-free was adequately addressed. Friendly, but rather inexperienced (untrained) service.

Only when we asked were we offered a menu or the buffet. Obviously the larger groups that evening were more important than 2 people. What a pity

The menu selection provided with the Fork reservation was not available. Currently, the only option available until July 25, 2021, is an expensive buffet for €29. The quality is good, but the main courses were already lukewarm by 6:30 p.m. The interior ambiance is fine, but the terrace could be more comfortable. The advertising during booking is poor, the ambiance is good, the quality of the meal is average, and the sale of the set menu/daily specials without alternatives is poor.
