The service was great. As a graduate of hospitality management, I can responsibly say that the tableware placement and all service processes meet the standards of a high-end restaurant. The waiters are professional and humorous. One detail touched me a lot, that is, the seat reservation board did not just rigidly write "reserved", but used the shape of a cow and wrote the guest's name. From this point alone, we can see the sincerity of this restaurant.
As for the dishes, let's talk about the appetizers first. There was an appetizer - salmon and cantaloupe, which was ordinary. I ordered crab meat and avocado, which was sweet and refreshing with the crab flavor, and it was even more appetizing when mixed with lime. I also ordered a lobster soup with a strong lobster flavor. This appetizer alone was worth the trip; a dragon fruit ice cream was sent between the appetizer and the main course to clean up the taste of the previous dish in my mouth, and the details were praised again; for the main course, I listened to the recommendation of Sam Andaman Beef & Reef, which really did not disappoint me. The steak is moderately fat and lean, tender and smooth, and its freshness is unforgettable. The combination of apples and carrots with lobster is perfect. Compared with simple steaming with garlic or boiling with curry, this way of eating is not only novel but also keeps the freshness and tenderness of lobster, which is very suitable for those friends who have eaten lobster on the island. Unfortunately, the dessert level is not good enough, the heart is too soft and the texture is not strong, and it is too sweet. The berry pudding is not only too sour but also has a bad taste (my friend said it was like biting the tablecloth). The orange crepe has showmanship and is very ornamental, but the taste is bland. However, the free iced chocolate at the end is very thoughtful! Since I drove when I went there, I didn’t order any wine, but I looked at the price and brand, and it didn’t cost a fortune. But there are too few non-alcoholic drinks, which is a bit regrettable.
In general, although there is no stunning scenery and the price is high, the portion is based on the amount of food that an adult European man eats. Therefore, as a real Fine Dining restaurant, this restaurant is really cost-effective and is definitely the most recommended Western restaurant in Phuket.
