Came here on September 30, 2017.
If you come to Santa Monica, don't miss the seafood here! Especially this store, which is named after the city, feels a bit like an "official flagship store" and is the first choice for seafood.
There are many varieties of seafood here, which are placed in the open counter. They are all fresh goods directly delivered from the dock, and they are all quite large, which makes you particularly appetizing at first glance.
More importantly, the price here is relatively cheap, so the value for money is quite high. There are two kinds of menus here: one is a standard text menu, which is divided into categories on both sides according to oysters, chilled food, appetizers, soups, salads, main dishes, sandwiches, side dishes, children's meals, soft drinks, drinks..., and introduces the specific methods of each dish in detail. There is also a simple picture and text menu, which introduces soups, main dishes, staple foods, etc. in the form of "pictures + dish names", which is clear at a glance and more suitable for first-time guests like us.
I highly recommend everyone to try Cioppino, a seafood stew created by Italian fishermen. Because it is tomato-flavored (very Italian), the sweet and fresh taste of seafood protein is fully stimulated. I suggest everyone to add an Atlantic Lobster Tail, which costs an extra $9 and you can eat very happily!
The restaurant is not very big, so it may be full during peak dining hours. Although the road in front of the store is relatively small, you can park on the roadside, which is convenient.
