Sofitel Legend 1953 Lobby Bar Review

When I stayed at Sofitel Legend, I came here almost every day for a drink and some snacks. The service was very considerate. The waiter remembered me the next day and asked me what I wanted to drink. The cocktail was also very good. Very satisfied and recommended hotel.

This is a French expert building built in 1953. It is now a cultural relic protection unit. I stayed in the hotel for 5 days and had a deep impression of this hotel. It is luxurious but not extravagant, low-key and restrained, and it shows a heavy sense of history and culture everywhere. In a large courtyard next to the provincial government on Dongxin Street, it is a three- to five-minute drive from the Bell and Drum Tower. It looks ordinary from a distance, but it is shocking when you enter. The French design concept is simple and bright, and it has Xi'an's characteristic display. Sun, the head of the concierge department, took us to visit the museum of this legendary hotel after our meal. Sofitel Hotel, whether legendary or Renmin East Building, has first-class service, warm and polite. They obviously have traces of European service management, which is very comfortable. The food tastes first-class. You can group afternoon tea on Meituan, which is super value. The price of Chinese food is slightly higher, and parking is free. If the history and culture of Xi'an attracted us, then this legendary hotel made us fall in love with Xi'an even more.

The Legend Hotel has only one building, and the floors are not high, so there are not many rooms. In addition, the room rate is not low, so it is the most expensive star hotel in Xi'an city. So there are not many guests staying in the hotel, and most of them are foreigners. There is no separate executive lounge, but the happy hour time period is from 5:30 to 7:30 every afternoon, and the location is the lobby bar. Here comes the point! This is developed for all guests staying in the hotel and is free! Just like breakfast, you only need to report your room number to the staff. I saw other people's reviews on Ctrip, saying that there are many types of food, so I came back in time. However, there is not. There are only a few desserts, a few snacks and sandwiches, including free drinks. The appearance and taste of the desserts are average, and the sandwiches are not recommended. They look dry and tasteless. The snacks are fried foods such as fried spring rolls and fried ham, and there is nothing about the fruit. Well, I just took a little and tried it. I’m not full yet, let’s go back to the room and continue eating snacks.
