Solander Dining and Bar Review

Lovely evening. We went for the $25 Angus steak and it was cooked perfectly. Started with cocktails and mocktails, then entree of S&P squid and the baked Gruyere which was divine. Not everyone wanted steak so there was an order of salmon and a burger. Fantastic service, water glasses constantly topped and it was not a problem getting extra bread for the cheese.

Food and cocktails were lovely and delicious. The service was bit slow when you need to ask a question. Not all the staff knows everything they have to call someone else to come to answer your questions. Staff was friendly.

Loved the chorizo entree and the pork as main.Gnocchi was fresh and could have a bit more seasoning.Restaurant is clean, spacious and covid safe (which my mum prefers). All staff were very polite and attentive.I also had a cider for $8 for happy hour promotion, was great value.

Lovely restaurant, the service was perfect and atmosphere was really nice. Our food was fantastic.

Menu is limited since COVID but the food we had was very good. The service was also ery good and it is well priced. Looking fwd to seeing this restaurant get back to its full potential.
