Spices Cafe Review

This restaurant looks ordinary but has very high reviews abroad, and it is said that the chef came from a five-star hotel. Although the store is not big, the dishes are classic and high-end. During the peak season, the store is full. I recommend it. : Tom Yum Shrimp Soup is less spicy, Coconut Milk Chicken Soup (rich milk aroma, fragrant but not greasy.) Pineapple rice is a must-try! A good restaurant worth recommending!

The restaurant is not very big, so I drove straight through it the first time. However, the dishes inside are still very good. The Tom Yum Goong shrimp soup tastes average, but the garlic and black pepper meat is delicious. The pineapple fried rice in the third picture is served in a bucket, the portion is large, and the taste is also good.

We have eaten at Spices Cafe twice and have been pleasantly surprised by the food and service. The variety of food on the menu, combined with the quality and skill of the cooking, took my breath away and I didn't know where I was. I hope this is the right place, along the ring road, near the lompreyor pier area. We have been here many times in the past two years and I can say it is the best Thai food in Koh Samui. The place doesn't look fancy but the chef is from a 5 star hotel so it's great value, it's small and hard to find and you have to book.

We visited here based on the good reviews on TA and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was a little hard to find in the early evening, it's so small, we walked past it a few times and finally found it when we had almost given up. The restaurant is quaint and intimate, the owner greets you sweetly and you feel like this experience is going to be good. The menu is not extensive but everything we ordered was good. And we were surprised to receive a very reasonable bill. As long as you treat it as a restaurant, there is no fantastic view to enjoy, and the outside only looks over the main ring road - but if you experience the lovely Thai food and the smiling service of the owner, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely go back.
