St. Lawrence Market Review

St Lawrence Market is a nice place to go in Toronto. It is near downtown Toronto. I enjoyed some delicious fresh salmon sashimi at a very affordable price. More shops are open during weekend, it is better to go there during weekend.

There is probably a similar market in many cities. From the seaside, walk along Yonge Road back to Front Street, turn right and walk slowly for about 10 minutes to get there (you will pass a puppy fountain in the middle). There are a lot of things in the market, quite rich. I wanted to try the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, but I found flies on the meat, so I gave up. I tried the fruit (Raspberry), but the middle was not fresh; I had a turkey sandwich 🥪, which tasted okay; I had a chocolate (puff), which tasted very good.

Toronto is no exception, and St. Lawrence in downtown is a representative market. It is also full of food, meat, seafood and fast food, but the aisles are wide and not so crowded.
