Sternbrau Review

This is a very old and popular restaurant in Salzburg, with a history of hundreds of years! It has a large courtyard where you can dine in the garden. We chose to have our dinner and lunch the next day here because their food, environment and service were impeccable, so we were too lazy to choose another one.

The local B&B owner recommended this restaurant to us, saying that it has a very good reputation among the locals! We were not disappointed. The restaurant is very big. The weather was good that day, and we mostly dined in the garden. The dishes are very rich and they suit our tastes, but the most famous thing is its beer. The old photos hanging on the wall show that this restaurant has a history of hundreds of years. After returning, I checked online and found that German Chancellor Merkel and Hopkins were its guests; the musical prodigy Mozart often came here to play... and the price is affordable, absolutely recommended!

The business is really good, there are many seats in the garden, and it will be full after a while. I ordered a fish steak and then a German pig elbow. The two prices were similar. As a result, the fish steak was obviously not enough to fill the stomach, and the big pig elbow was too strong to eat. Fortunately, it happened to complement it. The taste is really great! It seems that in the Deao area, you want to eat affordable, just order a big pig elbow!

The authentic Austrian flavor is that the amount of dishes is very large. If everyone has such a set of pre-food, main dish, desserts, and can't finish it, it may also be that the Chinese people have a small amount of food. We learned a lot of lessons from eating in the Czech Republic before, and four people had one pre-course, one salad, two main dishes, one dessert, beer and drink, and they didn’t finish it.

Business is not generally good, fortunately we arrived early, and there is a garden location to sit. It's really a traditional old restaurant. Look at the photos on the wall. It's not a century old.
