It's one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, built in 1909. It's a place of Muslims worship but it's open for tourists too.The location of the mosque is very nice, at the confluence of two rivers, gives a very pleasing view. Moreover, the architecture is very good, giving old islamic culture vibes. The mosque is very large with a lot of place to pray and a small garden too.The lush surroundings by the Klang and Gombak rivers add to its charm, making it a must-visit landmark for both tourists and locals alike.A visit here is a tranquil and enriching experience, reflecting Malaysia's rich cultural heritage.

Masjid Jamek is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak River and may be accessed via Jalan Tun Perak. The beautiful architecture of the mosque brings its unique Moorish and Mughal charm to the neighborhood and is a must visit in KL.

This mosque is not big, no tickets are required, enter the door, there are staff to help change the robe. After entering, there are also staff to explain and take pictures. The temple is relatively small, it is difficult to take pictures of the building, and the exterior is being renovated. If you go to the Pink Mosque and the National Mosque, this one can not come. However, the attractions here are relatively concentrated, the subway is down, a little walk, you can see the gate of the mosque.

the Jamek Mosque is located around the corner from theSultsn Abpbdul Complex . Its in the heart of the old section of the city . I like this place because it gives you avery good sense of Islamic style architecture . It has a few onion domes that really stand out. The city surrounds it on two sides . The interior is done in pastel greens and vibrant pinks. The entry is free and you can go into the prayer area during non prayer times . There is a subway stop next to the Mosque . The best photo can be tsken from the bridge to the south .
