Taipei Palace Museum Review

It was my first time traveling to Taiwan. I visited the National Palace Museum in Taipei. The various collections were really shocking. I saw a treasure in the museum. I will go to see another one next time if I have the chance. 👍 Taiwanese people are very friendly!

The National Palace Museum in Taipei is a cultural treasure trove, housing one of the world's most extensive collections of Chinese art and artifacts. Established in 1965, the museum's origins trace back to the Forbidden City in Beijing, with its collection relocated to Taiwan during the Chinese Civil War to safeguard it from conflict. Today, the museum boasts nearly 700,000 pieces, spanning over 8,000 years of Chinese history—from Neolithic times to the Qing dynasty .

I was just going there to take photos and check in, but I didn't expect the cultural relics inside to be so amazing, not inferior to the Forbidden City in Beijing, China, and the cultural and creative products were also dazzling and unforgettable. I returned with a lot of things and was reluctant to leave. There is also a restaurant inside, the food is delicious, and the service is also very good. This is my favorite place in Taipei.

🍎 The locals are half-priced. I have been there countless times when I was a child, and then I went there again. 🍎 Mao Gongding, Cuiyu Cabbage, Pork Stone, etc. Compared with the museums on the mainland, I feel that things are not necessarily very ancient, but they look more valuable. There are many words and paintings, and there seems to be not many exhibitions when I go there. In short, they are all things that are easy to carry in the war years.

There is a saying that architecture looks at the Forbidden City in Beijing, while cultural relics look at the Forbidden City in Taipei. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the National Government began to move many important cultural relics south in order to protect them from destruction. After various twists and turns, these cultural relics were eventually shipped to Taiwan. So Taipei's Forbidden City holds most of China's national treasures, including the famous green jade cabbage, Mao Gongding.

Taipei Palace Museum, also known as Taipei Palace Museum, Zhongshan Museum. It is the largest museum in Taiwan Province and one of the three major museums in China. By coincidence, it is said that before the building of the museum, a large number of cultural relics were temporarily stored in the mountain cave. The temperature and humidity in the cave are the most suitable for preservation, so the treasures of calligraphy and painting have been preserved very well so far. I personally like to visit the paintings and calligraphy exhibits. Huang Gongwang's "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" only exists in legend, but it is a great blessing to see Wang Yuzhi's "Quick Snowtime Qingtian".

One of the three treasures of the town hall, "cabbage" went to Taichung on a business trip, only two treasures were seen, but because the collection was too rich and heavyweight, it was comforting. I also saw the Songyu Kiln Celadon Pot again. The last time was in Osaka City Dongyang Ceramics Art Museum. There are only seven pieces of the world that are gathered in the kiln, the sky and green daffodil pot... However, the Fuchun Mountain Residence map was not seen. According to the local guide who explained, he has only seen it once in 11 years. The Fuchun Mountain Residence map is divided into two, most of them in Taipei Palace Museum, and the other small section is on the mainland. Fortunately, I saw it at the Shanghai Museum last week. There are too many good things here. It is worthy of being the most popular attraction. In addition, you must find a local guide who will explain.
