The Chinese restaurant of an old five-star hotel is in the style of a luxury hotel. The dishes are pretty good. It mainly serves Cantonese cuisine and northern specialties. It's a bit like a modified Cantonese cuisine. The braised pigeon has a crispy skin and tender duck meat. The price is also down-to-earth. The crab-flavored clay pot rice has fresh crabs and crab roe, which is delicious. The stewed beef brisket with radish is also delicious.

I highly recommend the Zhongshan braised pigeon at Tanghuangge Chinese Restaurant. The skin is crispy and the pigeon meat is tender and juicy. The price is good, and it is much better than the specialty Wanlixiang roast chicken! Following the waiter's suggestion, four people ordered the mini fish head Buddha jump over the wall. As expected, the portion was amazing. The Qiandao Lake fish head was airlifted, and the side dishes were abalone, prawns, sea cucumbers, fish balls, goose feet and other fresh goods from land, sea and air. The slow-cooked broth was tasty. At this moment, a bowl of local crab rice and fragrant rice were ordered to accompany the delicacies. Now there is a special edition super mini takeaway version, Buddha jump over the wall to take away! Black truffle crispy wild mushroom chicken, the golden and shiny whole chicken belly is filled with various mushrooms, and the black truffle sauce is poured on it after the skin is broken. Tanghuang Pavilion mainly has private rooms, and there are only a few scattered seats in the hall. I ordered a few home-cooked dishes, and the overall taste was good. The steamed chicken feet were not delicious, too meaty, but the portion was not small; the shrimp dumpling filling was very solid, but not fresh and fragrant. The food was served slowly, and there was no service charge for dining, which was good

The Chinese restaurant of Tangshan Shangri-La Hotel has a very high cost-effectiveness. The roast duck tastes better than that in Beijing and the price is affordable. I recommend this restaurant.
