Tanoshi Teppan and Sake Bar Review

It's a pretty good Japanese restaurant. The udon noodles there are pretty good, and there are also Japanese dumplings. It's a pity that I didn't see any tempura. The Japanese ramen there is good, the fried chicken is very tender, and the sauce is delicious.

We saw this restaurant on the tripadvisor rankings. My friend likes Japanese food so we decided to have dinner at this bar. I don’t know if the menus for lunch and dinner are different. I didn’t see many staple foods to choose from. We ordered some appetizers such as sashimi, tempura, beef, a dish similar to hand-shredded chicken with sesame sauce, and cold cucumber salad, which instantly gave us the feeling of Chinese cuisine. We ordered Okonomiyaki for the main course. Of course, Okonomiyaki is best eaten in front of a steaming iron plate. This one is a bit small and exquisite. My friend was so hungry that he ordered another serving of fried dumplings... In general, the price-performance ratio is not high, maybe not as high as the Japanese food in Shanghai, but the freshness of the ingredients and the taste are still good. It’s just a horizontal comparison. If you eat Japanese food in a non-Japanese tourist attraction, it’s not particularly outstanding. Moreover, a restaurant like a small bar should focus on drinking and small dishes, so I don’t have any special recommendations.
