Tant Pis Review

Good, fresh ingredients, with mostly good outcomes! We ordered a Greek salad for table, very nice. We also liked the Tzatziki and Carrot Salad. The shrimp was outstanding! The falafel and hummus were disappointing. Wine selection isn’t great. Very nice in backyard under the trees!

Very good restaurant serving Turkish specialties. Of note it is a cash only restaurant.

The appetizer’s are very nice. We went there with 2 adults and 2 kids. The waiter recommended us to take 3 appetizers p.p., which we thought too much, so we ordered 4. It was perfect amount. Since each main dish is big using a lot of oil, it would be nice if the explanation was precisely done as it is. Personally either 1 appetizer and main dish p.p. , or several appetizers without the main dish.

Food was good but on the pricier side compared to other restaurants offering the same cuisine in Zurich.Ambience in the garden is lovely and great for a summer evening.Aperol Spritz is heavily watered down but that seems to be the norm in Zurich.Service was extremely slow and the man who was working the outside area took a long time to take our order and seemed bothered by something, maybe it was a bad day or he was overwhelmed working the outside area alone. I had to go to the kitchen to ask for additional bread, before our dishes got cold. A dish we didn't receive was on the bill and when I went to the payment area to let the man serving us know, he simply mumbled something and took the bill from me, no apology, he just seemed irritated.Overrall the experience was not very positive for us, we may give the place another go but there are areas to work on, particularly in terms of service!

The location of this restaurant, which also has a courtyard indoor (Klingenhof) under trees and many quiet plants near the Zurich station, is ideal in summer. The food that follows mainly the Turkish cuisine is very varied and healthy at affordable prices, at midnight, other than the evening.
