TASTY CONGEE & NOODLE WANTUN SHOP (IFC Branch) Review

The signature dish of Zhengdou Noodle and Congee Expert is wonton noodles with pork belly sauce. I didn't ask for anything else, but they actually served pork belly sauce separately. The taste is very good. There is also pork meatball congee with fried dough sticks. The dry fresh prawn congee and fried beef noodles are also very good.

Zhengdou, judging by its grand facade and decoration, is a high-end restaurant. Among the "selected side dishes", it was hard to find two dishes that were under 100 yuan, "Shredded Chinese lettuce with pepper and fermented bean curd" and "Stir-fried kale with ginger juice", both vegetarian dishes were 98 yuan. During the epidemic, the government encouraged takeout, but there was no takeout discount here.

I randomly walked into a restaurant full of locals and ordered a bowl of original Chu Hou beef brisket noodles. The soup had a strong scallop flavor, and with the tender beef brisket, it was a seafood feast that was delicious! !

Very authentic. Elegant environment. Excellent service. Exquisite dishes. The pork liver congee is thick and tender, with no fishy smell. The wonton noodles are chewy and smooth. The BBQ pork rice noodle rolls have a thin, translucent skin and a rich, flavorful filling.

Don't let the name "Zhengdou Congee and Noodle Expert" limit your pursuit of delicious food. Here you can not only enjoy a variety of delicious congee and chewy noodles, but also fried noodles, dry fried beef noodles, chicken feet, barbecued pork buns, various rice rolls, shrimp dumplings and other exquisite and delicious dim sum! Although it is a little expensive, it is worth the price.
