Xin Rong Ji was founded by Mr. Zhang Yong in Linhai, Zhejiang in October 1995. The company takes "Xin Rong Ji" as its core brand, and its extended brands include: Rong Xiaoguan, Rong Ji Hotpot, Rong Zhuang, Rong Fu Family Banquet, Rong Shu, Rong Shu Yellow Croaker Noodles, Furong Wushuang, etc.

I have collected this shop for a long time. It is not easy to finally come here. It is a very popular shop. You must make a reservation a long time in advance. If it is fully booked, don't wait for a seat, because there is no place for you to wait, and you can only come another day. It is located in Hengji 688 opposite the Shanghai TV and Radio and Television Building. You can see the sign of Xinrongji when you enter the door. It is very grand. After going upstairs, a waiter will lead you to your seat. The small table is a small round table for 4 people. It is darker inside. The large table is a large round table for 8-10 people. It is brighter by the window. There are also private rooms but there is a minimum consumption, starting from 300-500 at noon and 600 at night. We sat in the hall, which is very spacious! The first time I came, I ordered the recommended dishes. The must-order set of Deep Well Roast Goose and vegetables was 198. The other dishes I ordered were dim sum, chicken feet (one bowl), siu mai (4 pieces per serving, only fish roe, abalone is not available now), black truffle foie gras bun (3 pieces per serving) which is super delicious and must-order, beef tart (3 pieces per serving) is also quite a surprise, and I also ordered a bowl of chicken porridge. I originally wanted to eat shrimp bean curd rolls, but this was too popular and it was sold out quickly. If you want to eat this, it is recommended to order it when the door opens at 11 o'clock. The tea fee is 10 yuan per person, and there are several types of tea to choose from. We chose black tea. Wet wipes can be returned if not used. The most amazing thing after eating is the black quicksand bun and black truffle foie gras bun. These two are really impressive!

It is just across from Nanyang Building and only 5 minutes walk from Plaza 66, so I prefer the company to treat guests here, and it is convenient to go home. The bronze plaque at the door is quite exaggerated, and the interior is even more exaggerated, just like the decoration of the homes of rich people (can you say nouveau riche), anyway, it is quite face-saving to treat guests to dinner. The dishes are quite exquisite, and the ingredients are very fresh. My favorite flower crab feels more tender than the frozen flower crab I ate in Chaozhou. The matsutake mushrooms I ate before were also very cute, and the sauce with them was very interesting.

I'm sharing the experience of a foodie named Lao Kela. Xinrongji's cuttlefish-fried rice cake is delicious. Boss Zhang's hairtail fish and tofu are also my favorites. It's not easy to make simple things so good.

We finally chose Xin Rong Ji for the company dinner at the end of the year. Although it was a bit over budget, the boss was willing to pay for it, so it would be a waste if we didn’t eat it, right? I never get tired of the fried hairtail, lobster rice and home-cooked pomfret! There were few choices for dim sum in the evening, but there were shrimp dumplings, which tasted good.

The famous restaurant is hard to book; the service is also very proactive and discerning! The black truffle foie gras buns that every table must order are really amazing, the crispy skin and the freshness of the filling complement each other. The lobster rice is several blocks away from other restaurants, and the ingredients are so fresh that you won't feel dry at all. The snacks and Taizhou seafood at the night market are all very thoughtful, and friends who like this may wish to come and try them for themselves.
