Toby Carvery Almondsbury Review

Really nice carvery. Good value for money. Helpful staff, but Disabled access not very good. Had to get staff to open a side door to let my husband in, as he could not negotiate the steps.

First time we visited this restaurant on my 85th birthday and it turned out to be a pleasant experience nice ambiance and good service plus the carvery was very enjoyable all in all it put a plus to our day.

Friendly and prompt service. Food didn’t disappoint. My booking was for 4.50 and although they were really busy, they got me to my table as soon as we arrived because I asked how long it was going to be so I would know when to take my insulin. They were brilliant and made sure they took me straight to my table!

The food was absolutely delicious. So much choice of vegetables and side dishes, and the meats were so tender. Yorkshires were huge! Pleasant staff and lovely quiet table by the window, lovely ambiance...until a middle aged truck driver sat on the next table to us with his lunch and burped loudly all the way through it, but obviously this was beyond the control of the staff. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Had to ask for 2 glasses after waiting to find our server leaning again the wall chatting then had to wait and ask twice for the bill. Nobody seemed to care about customers
