Located on the stretch of Aurelia immediately after the top of the Portofino Promontory in the direction of the east, Da Oreste fully represents the iconographic ideal of a trattoria, appearing from the outside as a simple little door to a decidedly simple and rustic inn, although renovated and very clean. A small room, wisely isolated from the cooking fumes that usually impregnate the customers' sweaters, hosts a few tables in an intimate and sincere context. The kindness is almost excessive for the Ligurian tradition, a tradition from which however the menu draws heavily without neglecting trofie with pesto or pansoti with walnut sauce or Ligurian-style rabbit. The dishes are well calibrated in quality and quantity, avoiding excesses of abundance or refinement.
