Food and atmosphere rating, it can be regarded as the best restaurant in Delft, of course, the price is relatively expensive, 50 euros per person, plus drinks. French cuisine ranked first in the local area, and is also a vegetarian

The Western and French food are very good and taste great. It is also a good restaurant with good value for money. The steak is delicious and the pizza is also good.

Food and wine pairing menu were absolutely delicious, staff were wonderful, could not recommend highly enough! Beautiful old building in a narrow alley, dates from 16th Century, overall a great experience.

Amazing birthday dinner at Restaurant Van der Dustin in Delft- no menu for you to choose from, it's a surprise, you just let them know anything you don't like and choose how many course you want from 4 to 7 - we opted for 6 after the starter and the intermediary course, and you can choose wine by the glass to suit what you are eating:Amuse bouche - cauliflower mouse, grated apple with a sweet curry leaf tuile Starter - cod brined for 36 hours with a tomato jam, tomato meringue and spinach creamIntermediary - pumpkin ravioli with curry and lemongrass sauce, a savoury shortbread and saffron creamFish course - red Gurnard with sweet cabbage on a bisque with tiny shrimpsMeat - venison on a bed of mashed potato with baby brussel sprouts and a smoked spring onions and balsamic gravy with chopped almondsSecond Meat- veal loin with fondant potato, asparagus, parsnip, caramelised onions and a red wine jus (plus mushrooms for Karen)Desert (could have had a cheese platter instead, or that would have been the 6th of 7 courses) - dark chocolate and banana cream, mango banana and passion fruit yoghurt mouse, mango coulis and pink pepper crumble.
