A century-old restaurant in Melbourne on the Yarra River, the history of the restaurant can be traced back to 1902, when the Zampelis family from Greece came to Melbourne and founded this seafood restaurant. But it doesn't look like an old restaurant, a typical Australian restaurant with a bit of style. The interior is elegant and the outdoor is lazy. 💁‍♂️Service: It was sunny in the summer evening, so we chose the outdoor. It is said that the restaurant should be reserved, but we came very early and there was almost no one, so we could choose a non-reserved seat. However, the waitress took us directly to the wall seat, ignoring our desire to face the river. Fortunately, I asked a young man again, and he confirmed that there was a view seat, so he immediately arranged a riverside seat. Later, he introduced himself as Peter and served our table all the time. 🍽️Taste: The menu for three people is "Mussels", "Seafood Rice", "Vegetable Salad", "Steak" (two portions are enough), with additional appetizer bread. The quality is beyond words, the beer is cool, the breeze is not dry, and it is a satisfying meal. 💰Value for money: Three people spent $345, equivalent to about RMB 1,500.

Super fresh oysters, squid fried just right with special sauce, highly recommended to eat the steak here, charcoal grilled steak locks the juices, It really makes me recall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10 points recommendation

A western restaurant by the Yarra River with a great view. Sitting outside is next to the Yarra River and across the street you can see the Southern Cross Station. The paella tasted average, the key point was that there were not many seafood in the paella, but there were 4 chicken wings, which was really ridiculous. It was not as delicious as the one in LA FONDA in Spain. The EYE FILLET tasted good, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I believe the other steaks should be good too.

Recommend oysters. Very fresh, with a seawater taste. Australian oysters have a sweet and bitter taste, it turns out they are high-quality oysters. Seafood platter . I didn't order the largest one, but a small one, but it was not a small amount. We couldn't finish the two layers, including mussels, fried squid rings, clams, lobsters, blue crabs, grilled fish, prawns and scallops, etc. All are fresh and can satisfy the desire to eat different seafood at once.

A very famous local seafood restaurant, the noodles there are also very delicious, with European flavor. The environment is quite good, a bit like French cuisine. The prawns are of good size and the meat is relatively thick.

Had the three course lunch special. Excellent food and very generous portions. Great service (thank you Sarah). The beef gnocchi and prawn linguine were nice but will go for the whole fish next time as they looked amazing and the wine was very reasonably priced for Melbourne. Desserts were great and the location was great, will definitely be back.
