Xiao Diao Li Tang (Joy City) Review

Located in the South District, 4th floor, Joy City, Nankai, Tianjin. It has been open for a few years. Now many restaurants have the same decoration. The dishes are average. It is OK to eat casually. The pear soup is good. Some dishes are oily.

The amount of food in the pear soup is quite enough. One person didn't finish two dishes and one soup. These dishes are enough for two people. 1. The traditional pear soup is served with a small cup. Pour it out and drink it slowly. It is a bit thick, but not greasy. 2. Two kinds of Gongbao, good, slightly spicy, the combination of meat and shrimp, the meat is tender, and there are more peanuts. 3. Stir-fried lamb with Beijing onion, average, maybe because I am not used to eating onions. 4. Gongwan stew, four big meatballs are very solid, not flour balls but pork, there are vermicelli, tofu and some mushrooms in the soup, not salty or bland

I came to queue at 4 o'clock, and there were already a lot of people queuing. I didn't get in until 6 o'clock. You can see how popular this restaurant is. I remember eating there once in Beijing five years ago. When I looked at the menu today, I found that the prices have not changed. It can be considered a conscientious restaurant. The small hanging pear soup and pear ball nut shrimp are must-orders for every table. The fish is not strong in orange flavor, but just a little bit of orange flavor that blends well with the fish. Another thing worth recommending is their roast duck, which has crispy skin and tender meat, but you have to wait a long time if there are many people. Next time I will try their beef risotto.

We were tired after shopping in Joy City, so we found a place to eat. Since my mom and I were alone...Western and Japanese food didn't suit her, so we chose Xiaodiao Pear Soup for lunch! We arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 pm, and there were still eight tables waiting in front of us. It was so popular! I used to eat in Beijing, but now it's in Tianjin, so it's convenient. The decoration is also unique, and the waiters are enthusiastic. Pear soup is a must-order, made with Tremella, very thick! Two people definitely can't finish it, so we fill the kettle and take it away to continue drinking! Red bean jelly, made with cold and sweet red beans, and a little milky. Pea yellow, this bean flavor is particularly strong, not as sweet as red bean jelly, it's light! Vegetarian roast goose, a layer of dried bean skin on the outside, with dried tofu, coriander, mushrooms, etc. inside, old taste, and the dipping sauce is not bad! Beef stewed rice, a large portion, super large beef, no teeth stuck, just like the salty rice I ate when I was a child, I love it!

Located in Nankai Joy City, the traffic is convenient, the customer flow is strong, the store environment is good, the seats are neatly arranged, clean and tidy, and the service staff are enthusiastic. The pear soup tastes very good and unique, and the pea yellow and red bean jelly are memorable.

From Beijing to Tianjin, the taste and the queue remain unchanged. Other restaurants have imitated pear soup, but none of them are as thick and sweet as his. Even the ordinary pear soup at more than 20 yuan a pot is delicious. Every time the leftovers are poured directly into my child's kettle, we can continue to taste them when we get home. Homemade tofu, cheese fish, and sugar cakes are all what we have eaten in Beijing before, and they are still delicious. Today, I waited for a seat at the door, and there were boiled eggs + small condiments + fried shrimp chips for free to taste, which relieved the anxiety of waiting.
