Zest Ristorante & Wine Bar Review

We stumbled into this place by accident. We honestly didn't even see the inside of the restaurant. It's located on a sloping street overlooking a corner of the city. Because it's a slope, it has some tiered tables and chairs outside that look like theater seating. Great for people watching. We sat down because we liked the idea. The food was pretty much Italian standard and very good. Still typical local prices, it was all very good. I think it's worth it just for the view, but the food was also excellent.

We had lunch in the restaurant. The service was excellent and they also had gluten free options. If we were staying longer we would have eaten lunch every day and tried everything on the menu. The kitchen is also divided into gluten and gluten free areas, obviously for those who want to see the preparation area. We sat outside and enjoyed the view from the rooftop.

We have been looking for a lovely restaurant with delicious food, but we didn't expect it to be just a few minutes away from our hotel! There are many choices of dishes and they taste pretty good. The mellow local wine, coupled with friendly service, will definitely come again!

The bistro is nice but need to reconsider the quality of the wait staff. We booked in advance but were seated downstairs in a drafty area and the wait staff seemed to have forgotten we were there. Asked for menus and ordering was difficult. The main reason seemed to be the lack of wait staff and the restaurant needed to call in more wait staff in the evening. The food was ok but not outstanding. It took us too long to get our food.

This restaurant serves authentic Western food. The dishes are European in style and the cooking methods are quite standard. They are very good.
