Zhuzhuang Restaurant Review

I came to Nankun Mountain for vacation with my friends before, and stayed at the Crosswater Resort Hotel. My friend said that he had eaten at this restaurant, so he brought me here. The restaurant is not far from the hotel. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, the nearest town along the road is here. Then because my friends have been here, it is easy to find. It turns out that there are also accommodations here. The first floor is a restaurant, a very large restaurant. Unfortunately, there was only one table of guests at that time. Maybe it was not the peak season. The upstairs were all accommodations. The building was not high, maybe there were only three floors. The restaurant did not have a specific person assigned to watch there. When guests came in, they were stared at by the store at the gate, and they guided you where to park and which table to sit. The menu is very simple, all written on an A4-sized paper. It feels that guests who usually come here will choose to eat local specialties. We did this. Roast chicken is their specialty, which is cooked on the spot, right next to the restaurant door. There are special tools for "performance" on the spot. There is a special slot with an electric pole suspended in the air, which is used to wear the chicken. Figuratively speaking, it is equivalent to bursting the chicken, haha. A customer ordered roast chicken. The kitchen marinated the chicken in advance and then roasted it directly on a skewer. It takes about 20-30 minutes to order a roast chicken. Others also ordered yuba and rice noodles, which are specialties of Nankun Mountain. The yuba stewed fish pot is so large that it will surprise you. It is a full pot. The fish has been fried, so it is particularly fragrant. It is said that yuba cannot be cooked. It is true. It is still a large piece, but it is just cooked and soft. The egg fried rice noodles are also great. The rice noodles are distinct and will not stick together. It is refreshing. The products here are very good, with a lot of wok flavor, especially the roast chicken. It is the first time I have eaten such a crispy skin and tender meat after roasting. And the service is also very good.

The taste is very good. The surrounding environment is very close to nature, with a farmhouse atmosphere. The store owner is very nice and polite. The dishes are all wild vegetable style, mainly based on local ingredients, very fresh, and the portions are large. The price-performance ratio is very high.

I think the dishes tasted OK. You can't rush the bamboo tube roast chicken. If you rush, some parts of the chicken are not cooked enough, such as the neck. The taste is still crispy and the meat is tender. I hope the store can improve the restaurant's sewage facilities and not discharge boiling water directly into the stream. No matter how beautiful the scenery is, it will be discounted because of random sewage discharge.

Good environment, convenient parking, good food. Close to the market, convenient for shopping after dinner.

The roast chicken was of a very high standard. The three of us couldn't eat too much, so we ordered a portion of mountain water tofu, mountain pit snails and roast chicken. The rice was pretty good.
