It’d be nice if they could provide small spoons. But overall the stay I had was amazing. My son loves the pool expcept it’s open air & too sunny and got no shades. I only have 1 pci my son took:

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, the location is fantastic! It's just a short walk to the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. The sand is soft and pristine, and the water is crystal clear—perfect for relaxing or swimming. Although the hotel is 45 years old, it's surprisingly well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and everything is kept clean. The overall vibe of the hotel is relaxed, which adds to the charm. The service and food were decent but nothing to write home about. While the staff were friendly, the service didn’t feel particularly exceptional. The food was okay, but there wasn’t much variety, and it didn’t stand out compared to other places I’ve stayed. Overall, I’d say this hotel is a great option if you're looking for a beautiful location near the beach with decent accommodations. The beach alone makes it worth the stay!

We chose Japamala Tioman for our wedding anniversary and this boutique resort did not disappoint. Service was impeccable from the time we were picked up at the ferry terminal at Kampung Genting until the time we left. Kudos to the manger Kenny and his team for their hospitality in making our anniversary memorable. Food was in general above average (dessert was fantastic) and some dishes were a bit salty as we don’t consume too salty food in our diet. We gave feedback and to our surprise the staff took it seriously as our subsequent dishes served weren’t as salty. The rooms are clean and the sea view fantastic, allowing us to take in the magnificent sunset views every evening. Not much to do, as this resort is more for guest to disconnect. Hiking to Batu Permata and to Kampung Genting was doable. Canoeing and snorkelling by the resort was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Thanks Japamala!

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. We got a beautiful sea view from our room, which made the stay even more relaxing. The place is perfect for families — peaceful environment, friendly staff, and convenient facilities. Everything was well-maintained and exceeded our expectations. Definitely worth coming back! 🌊✨

Such a great experience stayed here for 3D2N. Love the ambiance of the resort. Very peaceful and relaxing. The resort itself had their own private beach which is great. At night also had live band performance. Little to improve is the shower gel provide extra. No toothbrush provided Shower & toilet room small. Overall, I love stayed here. Will come again soon!

Very good sea view apartment, the location is excellent, not noisy or crowded, the balcony faces the sea, you can directly see the sunrise in the morning 🌅 so beautiful 

The service was truly excellent. I'd definitely return if I get the opportunity. The unit was clean and well-maintained; I was very satisfied. It looked exactly like the photos. A huge thank you to the owner for their help. Even though I found out it was fully booked after paying through Trip, the owner still went the extra mile to make sure we could stay. A truly trustworthy owner.

Well furnished apartment, pleasantly clean. Right on the beach which was perfect for our purpose. Sea view from the balcony and room was wonderful. However, the shower curtain is a bit too short, it makes the non shower area wet. This is a small inconvenience

When choosing a hotel, preference was given to the order. It is located 10 meters from the shore, where you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the surf! The hostess Aziza is very friendly, she helped buy tickets for the ferry to the island and back, which I could not do myself. Breakfasts are modest, but quite filling. You can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel. We always took seafood. They cook very tasty! Right in front of the hotel there is a coral reef, where you can see a lot of fish with a mask and snorkel. On the right and left there are diving clubs, where you can learn and dive into the underwater world the next day, if the training goes well. I went to the right, if you look from the sea, everything is organized there by an interesting Japanese family. I recommend the hotel, but not for possessive tourists for whom comfort is in the first place!

Great environment. Relaxing and doable. Great Sunrise except for occasional overcast. The beach is white. The size of the room is comfortable. Beds are big. The deluxe room has a small balcony which leads to the swimming pool and dining hall. The room is not the cleanest. Saw some baby cockroaches running around the bathroom. The pillows are way too soft. The Aircon power is very weak Occasional power trips. There are a few dive shops along the way. Good selection for divers who wants different experience diving around Juara. Food prices are average. There is a roti canai shop mia cafe. Which sells out out very quickly. Be on time at 7am if you want to try it.
