We always stay at Le Meridien when we are transiting. The staff is always great, receptive, and friendly, and the location is excellent. It's just a bridge distance from terminal 3. They have a shuttle mini-van to other terminals. I would say they have three items to improve: 1) bedroom maintenance (the towel hanger was almost falling), 2) they must have a kids’ playroom (they have enough space to create one), 3) They should provide a toothbrush, and toothpaste as amenities in the room (they are basically a transit hotel).
Novotel Cairo Airport offered a convenient, if brief, respite. Proximity to the terminals is its strongest asset, ideal for layovers. The rooms were clean and functional, though somewhat dated. Service was efficient, though not overly warm. The breakfast buffet provided a decent selection. Noise insulation was adequate, minimizing airport disturbances. Overall, it's a practical choice for transit passengers prioritizing ease of access over luxury. A solid, reliable option for a short stay, fulfilling its purpose as an airport hotel.
Hotel location is great, breakfast is good, room is nice. However, there are some issues. The rooms have no openable windows, there is always a strong smell of air freshener which can’t be vented. Services are generally good, but there are some girls in the canteen pressurising for reviews after some average service while others silently work hard doing the services. 4 of us tried to play cards in the open area beside the pool as the room is stuffed with air freshener smells, but unfortunately we were asked to leave and do it in our own room. It ruined our experience a bit after otherwise a nice stay.
The room is quite spacious, the facilities are OK, not very new. You have to bring your own toiletries, there is nothing in the room. The service is OK. The main reason for staying in this hotel is that I feel safe. The hotel is very close to City Star and a seafood restaurant that we like very much, which is very good.
The military runs this hotel. It is alcohol-free. People were smoking everywhere, which may or may not bother others. The breakfast and dining services were good. The room was clean but a little dated. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was helpful and always willing to answer questions and offer assistance. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day. I was disconnected/hung up on 3 times when trying to confirm that someone would be able to check us in when I arrived after midnight. I was told it would be fine but we had to wait for someone to check us in. The pool was great and we have no complaints. We had arranged a driver to take us on our tours so I am not sure if the location is good or not. Great hotel and would recommend it.
Because it is close to the airport, I chose this hotel on my last day in Cairo. Unexpectedly, all the staff were very friendly. It is indeed a five-star hotel. After check-in, a waiter will take the guest to the room in person, and will also meet guests on the way. Introducing various facilities, it was a pity that I was unable to enjoy many facilities due to my late check-in. I only went to the gym. The gym is very large and has complete facilities. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again next time.
huge hotel on the river Nile. super quiet room and any noise if at all it was there, was blocked with excellent double glazed windows.the staff particularly restaurant staff was very helpful and courteous. the breakfast had wide collection but not as tasty as other hotels and lacked in Egyptian varieties. we were initially given a double room even though we had booked a twin on the 12th floor but on the last day of our 3 nights stay we were upgraded to the 34th floor with Zamalek view by the relationship manager, who was a smiling and friendly person eager to help.we highly recommend this hotel and we enjoyed our 3 night stay here. however the 26% tax on the room rates and food imposed by the government is too high.
The hotel is OK, it should be high-end for Egypt, but some details are not good, such as the balcony window in the room cannot be closed. The staff is very kind. I saw other comments saying that the staff is not good. This should be a cultural problem. The staff I met are very good, but the speed is a bit slow compared to other places in foreign countries. The food in the several restaurants in the hotel is good, there is also an Asian restaurant, the overall price is not expensive, and the food quality is high. The bad thing is that the area around the hotel is a bit messy, and some street kids will ask you for money, but this is very common in Egypt. Try to take Uber when you go out. The price of the car is very cheap. Remember to bargain with the driver. Especially friends in China, they may be too accustomed to or do not understand the Egyptian culture, and will pay several times more. For example, the ride from the airport to this hotel is about 300-400 Egyptian pounds, which is more than enough. I saw that it is $15 USD online 😂
Overall, this hotel is worth recommending👍

Staying at the Marriott in Cairo was an exceptional experience. The location is unbeatable, situated right next to the Nile River, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The swimming pool is great, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The gym is fantastic, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater to all fitness needs.
The customer service is top-notch, with the reception staff being particularly super helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Our two kids really enjoyed the stay as well, which made our visit even more memorable. Simply the best in Cairo—highly recommend and we will definitely visit again!

Great
GGuest UserI have traveled to several countries and stayed in many five-star hotels. In a poor country like Cairo, I am really surprised that there is such a high-end and cost-effective hotel. This hotel has cured me of all the travel fatigue for half a month and made my children happy. .I am happy. I feel like I am a princess 👸 being pampered. And I am really high-end and classy. The ceiling of Egypt.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel. The staff were so kind and too care of all our needs. The kocation entrance can be slightly tricky for user drivers but if you let 5hem know in chat where exactly you are, I helps considerably.
KKharina97For the price we paid for three rooms at over US$100 a night and considering it was a Hilton we were extremely disappointed in the rooms. The lobby looked promising, and the staff was very nice. However, the rooms looked borderline ******* and did not feel super clean. There were weird hallways and random rooms that we had to walk into before going into the hotel room itself well the staff was amazing. I cannot say that it is Hilton standard or quality and was extremely disappointed. Considering Hilton is a worldwide brand.

AAnn-MLThe hotel is in a good location, by the beautiful Nile River, about 2 kilometers from the city center. The room is clean, there is no toothbrush, disposable slippers, and the plug needs to be converted to European standards. Most hotels in Cairo are relatively old, so don't be too demanding, just be happy staying here 😊
GGailThe hotel and staff were phenomenal. The reason I took one smile away for facility, was I wanted to get a pedicure and they gave a referral in the mall that was terrible. They should not refer anyone there; it was uncomfortably juvenile in the environment. I ended up leaving after waiting 30 minutes listening to workers talk, argue, show pictures on each other's phones. Other than that, it was an incredible experience.
Khaled Abdelkhalek with the concierge was outstanding. He was taking care of every need. I booked 2 tours thru 4 Seasons with Marwa, she is on an entirely different universe, so intelligent, kind, intuitive, and I could keep going with praise. If you ever need a tour, she is the one for you!! I also had Mohammed as the driver, between Marwa and Mohommed, they are the dynamic duo. I feel so fortunate and honored to have met and been able to spend time with them.
I had several hours to wait for my flight, so I sat in the lobby and had something to eat and drink, they were so accommodating. I do not recall if her name was Daliah or Liza but she was great. Took care of me and was very kind.
I travel a lot alone, and it can be tricky sometimes, but the people at the 4 Seasons made it seamless and like home!
SShatha Al-HmoudIt was my first visit to the Hotel in Cairo, and it was an amazing one! The location is convenient, close to the airport and away from the busy area, yet its easy to move around the city because of its centralized location.. Attractions are 20 minutes away by car from it, and this timing is very normal in Cairo due to heavy traffic around...
The staff were super, the service was more than amazing, the breakfast varieties were super and very delicious, the pool is clean and staff were super friendly and they always accommodated our requests. The receptionists all of them were great! I cannot find on mistake with their services to be honest... everyone was happy smiling and super helpful! I'm defiantly coming again to this place! I wish you all the best and keep the service amazing always!

GGuest UserWanted a hotel close to the airport but without hearing any planes. This completely fulfills this. Hotel itself is fine yet dated. Old tiles, old phones in bathroom, carpets etc however staff are very friendly and everything is clean. Egyptian and continental options at breakfast Buffet available
