Conveniently located next door to Manado Town Square (MANTOS) with amazing sunset view. Daily breakfast was mixed local and western varieties.
Within walking distance along the waterfront to Mega Mall area for street food.
Access to Se7en Bar and Lounge (fifth floor MANTOS parking) is within 5 minutes walking from Level 3 of the hotel for food and drinks.
I recently stayed at Aryaduta Manado and had an overall pleasant experience. The best part of the stay was definitely the room with a seaviewโwaking up to the stunning view of the ocean and the Manado Tua Island was simply breathtaking. However, I found that the room was a bit old and could benefit from some updates, particularly in the furniture and decor. The breakfast at Aryaduta Manado was fantastic, offering a wide selection of both local and international dishes. Everything was fresh, and it was a great way to start the day. Another plus is the hotel's location, as it is near many shops and restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the city. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of a welcome drink upon arrival, which made me feel instantly relaxed and welcomed. The hotel has a pool, but unfortunately, I didnโt have the chance to try it out during my stay. In summary, Aryaduta Manado offers a great seaview and an amazing breakfast, though the rooms could use some refurbishment. The location is ideal for those looking to explore the city.
We booked this spot with points to be close to the airport.
The pool provided a nice place to chill out for the afternoon, complete with a bar and decent coffee, plus a restaurant with good food. We had a lovely salad and some delicious Indonesian dishes. The staff is kind and helpful. The hotel is not convenient for walking to nearby stores and restaurants but it is possible.
The reason for the low cleanliness rating:
The room itself had not been cleaned well and we felt disgusted from the moment we walked in. There were dirty surfaces (counter, nightstand) and a very smelly bathroom (like urine). We asked the shower to be cleaned again and the staff nicely and promptly complied. They also were also very helpful when we needed to buy some medicine. However, the room was just inexcusably filthy. I hope this improves because otherwise was not a bad spot!
Staff at the front desk, at breakfast and roomservice are very helpful and kind.
They're very thrifty on giving towels though.
Only 1 big towel per person, so 2 big towels per room. While there is no shower curtain in the bathroom water goes all over the place so the floor gets wet.
No small towel to put on the floor. When asked for more towels they would give you only 1 small towel. Asking for 2 towels seems to be a problem.
Overall maintenance is really necessary in bathrooms even some beds.
However, again, very nice hotel, breakfast is good. Across the hotel there is a supermarket and 2 restaurants.
The resort is close to the left of the Blue and Blue Strait. The location is often good for divers, but the resort is very biased. There is no restaurant convenience store. There is another diving resort Yos next door. There is a small fishing village across the road. The store, the goods are incomplete (the shelf life is worrying), The price is still expensive, it is recommended to buy enough snacks and drinks in the convenience store before coming. The overall condition of the room is OK, the air-conditioning refrigerator is available, but there is no window, in fact, there is no window, the shower condition is very good, 24 hours hot water, the temperature is stable. The restaurant in the resort tastes good, because the resort is opened by the Singaporean owner, so the cook should be trained. But the price of the dish is not cheap, and an additional payment totals 21% of the consumer service tax. 95% of the divers who choose to play here are divers who play in the water. After checking in, they said that they need to dive. The front desk will tell the diving center about the needs. The private dive guide will take you to the diving center. The service is very thoughtful. The key is that almost all the dive guides will find small things. Everyone is a micro-dive guide. The diving price is equivalent to rmb350 one dive during the day, 500 one dive at night, and600-700 one dive in Black Water. An additional payment is required for a total of 21% consumption service tax. However, diving fees for more than 2 days are 20% off, and tax and equipment rental fees are not discounted. It is recommended that IDR and credit card pay, never pay in US dollars, the exchange rate is extremely unfriendly, I pay in US dollars, and I lose the exchange rate difference equivalent to RMB 1500. The big injustice is me ๐ญ. In general, diving in blue and blue is expensive, but expensive is not to go back and forth to the city and blue every day, people are not tired, and microbiome is rich.
It's not a loss, just staying here.. Good waiter.. Strategic location.. If you are full, you can go a little to go to the beach.. hanging out to see the sunset.. Amazing .. See you next time
If youโre foreigner or maybe national tourist, you may consider about the privacy and comfort here.
This hotel are really great with the beauty of the nature, but it ruined with the local guest. Youโll see some guest smoking in not smoke area as such as pool, the poorest is, hotel staff do nothing with it, even though there are big sign of no smoking there.
The worst are you will hear very loud annoying music around 6.am, and the funniest is the music used just by some people were doing zumba near guest room. And when asking for help to hotel guest, we get answer โthere are scheduled zumbaโ, how tf, guest will know there will be scheduled zumba.
To be fair, cleanliness is good, food are average.
On the first day of check-in, we didn't get slippers and towels. We brought our own slippers and towels because we were diving, so we didn't care about it on the first day. On the second day, there were still no towels, so we called the front desk to explain the situation, but they said there were towels in our room. After some discussion, they finally delivered towels. The most outrageous thing was that when we checked out, they said there were four towels in our room, but they only delivered two from beginning to end. The experience was very bad. I hope they can improve their service awareness.
The location is good and great service. Very recommended. Breakfast also has a lot of choice with Amazing view from the hotel.

GGuest UserBig comfortable bed, good view from the second floor (but limited to the rooftop below if the booked room is on the first floor).
There was no hot shower during two days visit and it didnt get improved until the end of the stay. I was promised by the reception that they will look at the problem but it didnt get solved.
The breakfast is quite good, you can choose from many options. The hotel has a thermal swimming pool.
The room and corridor design is great. But have in mind that there could be some renovation works during working hours. Ask in advance for the room further away from it.
