We stayed at this resort for 2 nights and it was a nice experience. The Olah Olah restaurant had beach-front tables and we also had the Sambal tasting menu, which was reasonably priced (and a lot of food for just 2 people)! Having breakfast is recommended and was one of the best breakfasts we've had. Unfortunately, one evening, we found lots of small bugs on our bed (the staff said this was likely because of the incoming storm/humidity) but when we reported this, they moved us immediately to another room. A small inconvenience but at least the air conditioning was stronger than our first room. The staff were very helpful and friendly, as you would expect from the excellent hospitality seen across Indonesia. The resort's surroundings and decoration was nicely done. I would totally recommend this resort to anyone staying in Lombok, especially if there intend to use the Bangsal Port to go to the Gili Islands or Bali (the resort is relatively nearby).
Location: Very close to Senggigi Beach, less than five kilometers away, but the sand on the beach there is black and the slope is relatively large, which is not as good as the hotel's own beach service. It is 26 kilometers from here to the cross-island pier to the three Gili Islands, and it can be reached in one hour by motorcycle.
Facilities: Complete facilities, toiletries, slippers, hair dryers, and small refrigerators are available in the room, but there is no bottled water. There is a water bottle, and you can get water from the water dispenser in the corridor. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, which is very convenient for drinking coffee. There is also a small rooftop bar on the third floor where you can eat and drink, and there are band performances. In addition to the gym and swimming pool, there is also a trail that can go up the mountain.
Environment: Clean and sanitary, cleaned in time, the overall environment of the hotel is very good, across the road from the hotel is the beach, where you can order a drink, sit on the beach to watch the sunset, and there are also bands playing. This is also the hotel's motorcycle parking lot, which can be parked for free and is very safe.
Service: The service is enthusiastic, the staff will greet you warmly, and will respond actively if there is a need. The hotel provides 24-hour ordering and massage services.
We stayed with three kids in an interconnecting room. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. Rooms are a little dated, but it's not an issue.
The staff are friendly. Housekeeping really fast to respond.
Breakfast is more suited to local taste, although they have plenty of Western options like croissants, bread, cereals, pancakes,waffles.etc..
The pool is amazing and super clean. We can see the cleaners clean the pool evdryday. They have 3 or 4 different pools with different depth levels. Kids and adults are seen enjoying themselves.
Location of hotel is close by Tajung Bias Beach which is 5 minutes walk and has a nice strip of restaurants and horse riding for kids along the beach.
It's almost like family. All the staff are extremely friendly and provide impeccable service. The villas are really beautifully designed and invite you to relax. The beach and pool area are very well maintained. If you're lucky, you'll see turtles right on the hotel beach, otherwise the turtle Point isn't far away. Always happy to come back, highly recommended.
Really nothing but praise for this gem on Lombok island. The hotel is brand new, but I honestly think this will be the number 1 resort in the coming years. No matter its a family vacation, or a romantic getaway for couples, this place has it all. From the unparalleled service, to the amazing food… to some of the most breathtaking sea views on planet earth, this place has it all. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, your stay here will be an unforgettable experience. Truly a highly recommended hotel for anyone heading to Lombok.
Check-in was a breeze.
We were given room above the trees and had a great view of the beach. Clean rooms and sufficient toiletries.
Breakfast was great with the choice of local and international food. Liked the fresh breads, cakes and juices too. Staff hospitality were nice and left something to remenber.
The pool size is great.
Booking a transport to Kuta was easy and the service is punctual.
Security at the entrance and the beach gives us the confidence. Liked the tips given to us about wild animals outside the hotel and which area to avoid.
Close proximity to Mandalika Circuit is a plus and the direct highway route to the airport means we do not need to rush for our flight.
Had a nice stay and would be great to return.
What can we say about this resort? The first word that comes to mind is 'outstanding'. The location, right on the beach, is awesome. Staff are super friendly, efficient, and respectful. Breakfast had so many options, from Western to Indonesian favourites. Sunsets were mind-blowing. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge. Super comfortable bed and waking up to the sound of the waves lapping on the beach each morning truly had us in relaxed holiday mode every day. If you are after a relaxing, quiet location with excellent amenities, this is the place for you. If you are after some local food, head 5mins south down the beach to Warung K or Verve Beach Club.
NICE hotel, I like the bar, and gym, next time I will swim ,bcoz no time stay only 1 night, staf very kind, and room comfortable, and excellent breakfast 💙💙💙
Location: From the airport 1 hour - 1 hour and a half hours on the mountain, you can Grab yourself, or let the hotel arrange a transfer. Environment: Super beautiful resort, the hotel is especially beautiful, the pool is very good. The room is large, the design is very warm, the bed is very comfortable, especially the design of the balcony, the view and leisure. Service: Very, very good, very welcoming, responsive. In the evening, I accidentally locked the locker room door, and immediately there were employees coming to help. Meals: The breakfast is very good and the lunch is OK. Dinner is by the sea, listening to the waves blowing the sea breeze, eating something different from the day, and the dessert is also delicious. After eating, you can sit on the beach rocking chair and feel the quiet world of two people. Private beach: the water is very mixed, you can't snorkel, you can walk along the beach. Hygiene: The only thing missing here is the stain on the quilt and the bathrobe. Call the front desk and come over and change. WIFI: Very stable. PS: There is no service phone marked on the phone. Dial 0. The staff of the hotel is not as good as the English in Bali, so don't worry, just let it be clear.

BBrandonAmazing cosy hut with friendly stuff, cool night chat with their stuff and music at night . away from the busy party sites and not too far from the jetty.
AAnonymous UserI’m going to start w the positives. Amber is in a beautiful location on a private beach with nothing around. The walkways are lush with blooming banana trees and pineapple plants. I used the spa everyday while I was there. The treatments were all wonderful and in a peaceful ambiance.
The staff was very friendly from the front office to the walkways and in the restaurant. The restaurant was very understaffed on Saturday night for the bbq dinner. The servers were great they just needed more hands on the floor. It seemed the manager of the restaurant just sat up front on his phone all the time.
The hotel is very family oriented and I didn’t pick up on that at my time of booking. Kids running and screaming all day long. Parents, nanny’s and staff yelling for children that were running around wild all day. At Breakfast, lunch/pool time & dinner they were multiple family’s just letting the kids run around everywhere. There wasn’t any peaceful time at the pool to read or relax. At 1 point there were 12 small children at the pool on Sunday. The one day I didn’t got to the pool because it was so crowded.
I love the room when I checked in but that faded quickly. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. I killed at least 10 by hand and every time I left I sprayed the poison can they left in the room. The bathroom had a terrible smell all the time.
The bedding was dirty dirty not stained it was unwashed. I left the clean room sign on the door all day I figured by the time I got back from my massage it would of been by 4:30 and it was not.
The comforter was covered up by the blanket and never changed since prior guests. It had blood marks that had not been washed for who knows how long.
I was bit by something in the night on my face around 3:30am and my face swelled up. I turned the light on but couldn’t see any insects. It hurt so bad. I told the front desk the next morning and they got me an ointment to put on it. It was swollen for days and very painful.
I had expectations that it would of been amazing but it wasn’t.
My food was all delicious, the restaurant staff was very nice and friendly, the spa was great but the structure of the hotel has a lot to work on for the price. I’ve been in lombok for 2 months and I’ve never seen so many small children.
If it was advertised as kid friendly I would of picked somewhere else.
Even at check out a family was also leaving and 2 of the 3 kids were crying and I said there has been kids screaming and crying every hour for the 3 days I was there.
Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms
For the money there are many better options in south lombok
AAkshay707jainVery nice stay with good buffet breakfast. The rooms are spacious and the balconies offer a nice sea view even from the deluxe garden room. Hotel also offered a complimentary photo shoot which was a cherry on the cake.
MMateuszI had high expectations for my stay at Kebun Villas & Resort Lombok, given its potential and picturesque setting. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying, marking a clear departure from the resort's former glory days.
The first thing that struck me was the overall lack of maintenance. It's evident that the property has seen better days, with clear signs of wear and tear. The grounds, which could have been immaculate, were poorly kept, diminishing the natural beauty of the location.
A major letdown was the swimming pool. Despite the tropical allure, the pool was in a dire state - the water was murky, and it felt uninviting. Even after I pointed this out, and the staff seemingly cleaned it, the improvement was minimal. The water remained cloudy, making it less appealing for a refreshing dip.
The room itself was just okay. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief, but this was overshadowed by the state of the bathroom. It was disappointingly dirty, with massive stains and a shower glass covered in limescale. It seemed as if it had only been rinsed with water, without any proper cleaning agents.
Adding to the discomfort was the sight of several out-of-use rooms. Through their windows, one could see disarray - bare mattresses, safes left haphazardly on them. It was a sad sight and spoke volumes about the current state of the resort.
Overall, Kebun Villas & Resort Lombok falls short of its potential. It's a shame to see a place with so much promise deteriorate like this. The management needs to take immediate action to restore and maintain the property to its former standards. Until then, I find it hard to recommend this resort for a pleasant stay.
GGuest UserHad to wait 30 or so minutes for our room to be ready? First room was very noisy from adjoining rooms and above. They obliged by shifting us to a beautifully quiet room which was lovely. Service and food in the restaurant was a bit hit and miss. Overall, if you can book a good room the hotel and location is wonderful.
WWabalaThe rooms are OK, as shown in the picture, which are townhouses or single-family houses. The best view of the hotel is a small peninsula on the Senggigi Bay, where you can take a walk and go to the beach. There are also many locals who come to hold banquets at night. There are many shops on the main road outside the hotel, which is less walking than Sheraton; the hardware is worse than Sheraton.
GGuest UserWe stayed with three kids in an interconnecting room. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. Rooms are a little dated, but it's not an issue.
The staff are friendly. Housekeeping really fast to respond.

TTigrah12Amazing experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Greeting us on arrival with fresh coconut juice and friendly conversation.
We stayed at the one bedroom villa for four nights. The villa is beautiful, with a big private pool, kitchen, and sitting area. The room is open air, very well ventilated, with a mosquito net around the bed and a fan that blows directly on the bed from inside the net. There is even an AC unit behind the fan for extra comfort, although we found it unnecessary to use. The bathroom is clean and large with a freshwater shower and even hot water! I expected bugs would be a problem, but was surprised by how few were around. The staff brought breakfast to our villa each morning at the time we requested along with hot fresh coffee. (French press coffee. Not instant.) The staff even offered free laundry service for us! Aari, the staff member who catered to us during our stay, is passionate about vegan cooking and offered to give us cooking lessons during our stay.
All the staff spoke fluent English and another staff member mentioned he speaks French as well.
We could not have asked for a more perfect and restful location. Highly reccomend for couples or people looking to get away from the crowds. Please check this place out!
Thank you to Aari and the other wonderful staff!! You are so kind, welcoming and sweet!
JJoanna’sThe hotel is really nice, we loved the design. It’s authentic. The bed was super comfy and sheets were clean. You will probably see ants here and there but that’s normal considering the surrounding. The hotel is on the opposite side of the port where most people are and what is considered to be the center of the island. However, the island is small, you can make a full circle in about 30min with the bicycle. The area of the hotel is quiet and calm, yet you’ll find many nice restaurants or bars, as well as a market near it. Variations of breakfast are offered. Stuff is very friendly. Worth the price.
