Room:
Booked the sea view room and the view was great albeit the sea view itself is at an angle but that's just how the resort is positioned.
The room had all the basic amenities needed. TV was a Smart TV with Netflix / Prime / YouTube etc.
Cleanliness could be improved as there were some dead insects under the bed - only noticed this a few moments prior to checkout so it otherwise didn't affect my stay but still, thorough housekeeping is a must.
As others have mentioned in reviews, the rooms get very humid for some reason (something to do with the AC). Was not a big deal for us but if you are spending a whole day getting wet in the pool or at the beach - don't expect to come back to a dry room.
Location:
Located on an inner road just off the main Ao Nang street, super convenient. 5 mins walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants around for all diets and a 7E right across the road. Couldn't ask for more.
Breakfast:
The buffet was decent, usual fare for buffet breakfasts. The pastries were particularly good (croissants hot out of the oven are a must). The buffet runs until 11AM so it's well suited for slower mornings.
Check in / Check out:
Very smooth - no hiccups. Gave us a welcome drink while preparing our keycards for check in. Receptionist was warm with plenty of smiles. Check-out was just a keycard dropoff, as simple as can be.
Overall:
Would definitely recommend this place due to its location, views and relatively affordable prices. Minus half a star for the humidity in the rooms and the cleanliness.

Had an absolutely brilliant time at this lovely hotel. All staff from check in to housekeeping were helpful and professional.
Room itself is very big and the shower is particularly impressive. Always had hot water and good water pressure. Daily housekeeping does a good job!
Although the hotel is a little far from the beach, there is a lot around in terms of food and shopping so you’ll never need to worry about needing anything. Room balcony is a big plus for smokers and peace.
Room service is truly divine and worth the cost! Also worth booking island tour through the hotel though I have to say would prefer private options with more time on the beach and for snorkeling.
My only complaints would be the pool is too shallow! I’m short and it was still too shallow for me. Also, it closes too early at 6pm.
Other than this, I totally enjoyed my stay. Thank you very much!
Overall hotel is very lovely, super clean and peaceful. We booked room with a pool access and didn’t like it at all. Everything was so worn out, shiny tiles on the floor made it look dirty all the time. Acoustics was horrible. Above us was an Asian family…… felt like 10 people there, they were screaming, laughing, running in the room until the late night and you can hear absolutely all! And the worst thing was a lot of insects on our bed - dead and alive, flying, scrolling. So first night was a nightmare….. but we managed to change it for a bungalow and it was absolutely lovely. Nice design, silent, very clean, no insects inside.
Food in the hotel restaurant is not the best. First evening we had there fried fish, they brought it fully covered in ketchup. One of the waitresses recognized Slav face in me and was constantly trying to speak in broken Russian with me and my husband, even after we said I am Ukrainian and my husband is Turkish, he doesn’t understand Russian and I don’t want to hear it. So we never ate there again.
But breakfast was very nice, not very wide variety, but all super fresh. absolutely lovely egg station. Somehow they manage to cook each type of eggs in the very delicious way.
Few words about beach and island itself. We traveled in the beginning of June and I was searching a lot of about life and activities on the island before coming….. couldn’t find much, so was relying on google maps showing a lot of bars and restaurants around. So, it is pretty frustrating, absolutely everything closed because it is a rain season. Beach looks very abandoned, only few hotels work, all other places look like people left in hurry and didn’t care about anything. In the storm beach is full of sharp glass and other trash and no one cleans it. You need to watch your step all the time. But I can imagine in the season and good weather it must be a very nice wide and still silent beach to walk.
Nature is absolutely crazy, so many birds, lizards, snakes and other living things even on the territory of the hotel. Also they are taking care about two lovely cats, so we were constantly buying them some treats and wet food.

Cool experience overall. I checked in pretty late around midnight and was glad to see a few staff still on duty for the night shift. They were attentive and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and smells great adding some welcoming atmosphere.
That said, there’s a small downside. While the location is generally convenient, unfortunately, there aren’t any convenience stores nearby. We considered heading out to look for one, but the surrounding area was dimly lit and felt too dark to walk around safely at that hour.
Still, it’s a lovely hotel with great service and comfort. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet and clean place to stay :)

Amazing! More than just a hotel, Adam was a true experience. Thanks to its incredible location and the outstanding service and care from the wonderful staff, my friends and I had the chance to truly immerse ourselves in the Krabi lifestyle and experience the warmth of Thai hospitality.
A peaceful, quiet, and relaxing resort by Khlong Dao Beach. We liked that it is an adult only place, and the location was perfect for excursions to neighoring islands as it is very close to two piers. A day trip to Four Islands and Phi Phi is highly recommended, and the resort offers various activity options at reasonable prices. Although the breakfast menu was mainly Western (we hardly saw any Asians staying at this resort), the food was nice and we particularly liked that they had a cold room to keep dairy items, veges, and fruits fresh! If you wanted to spend more time in actual Krabi, this resort may not work for you as it is on Koh Lanta island which is about 150mins away from Krabi International Airport.

We have always been a fan of Centara brand of hotels. We have stayed in Centara Anda Dhevi Aonang a few times and it never dissapoint. It is a nice hotel to stay, although the location of the hotel can be a bit far out from the Main Street area. It would be good if you have a car or bike to run about. Otherwise, the Main Street is about 20-30minutes walk one way. But it is away from the noise - bikes, boats, crowds. It is a charming hotel in the area of Aonang.

Golden Beach Resort was far above my expectations. I paid a budget price but what I got was a very high level experience. The hotel is situated on the beach and has an amazing pool. The breakfast is also above average. I would definitely come back.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being one of the very few (and possibly the only) direct beachfront properties in the Ao Dong and Railay area. This is its biggest advantage, making it ideal for families with children as there's no need to constantly trek back and forth. Although it's double the price of other hotels in the vicinity, it's still well worth the cost. The hotel generally maintains a 3 to 4-star standard, offering all the expected amenities such as a gym and massage services. The breakfast is pretty good.

A Mixed Honeymoon Experience at Pakasai Resort, Krabi 💚
My husband and I recently stayed at Pakasai Resort in Krabi for our honeymoon, spending 6 days and 5 nights in their charming Honeymoon Chalet (Room 423). While the resort’s eco-friendly concept and tranquil natural environment created a memorable stay, our experience was a mix of highs and lows due to varying levels of service.
On a positive note, we were thoroughly impressed by the outstanding hospitality of Hakim and Ibrahim, two staff members who truly went above and beyond. Hakim (the one who attached in photo with loved one) welcomed us warmly on our first night, providing fantastic recommendations for must-visit spots in Krabi, which really enhanced our trip. Ibrahim (didn’t get a chance to take a photo, he was on his off day during our last day in Pakasai) was equally helpful, especially when he assisted us with our heavy baggage to our chalet, located at the highest point of the resort. His suggestion to rent a bike in Krabi made exploring the area more enjoyable and convenient.
However, our experience at the front desk left us feeling disappointed and disrespected. After a tiring walk back from Aonang Landmark Night Market for 20 minutes, my husband and I were exhausted and thirsty. We decided to rest at the lobby and politely asked the receptionist named Pin, if we could have some water to drink. Her response was curt and dismissive: “Here don’t have water. If you want water, you can go to the restaurant to buy it,” she said, pointing to the restaurant without a smile.
As me and my loved one came with a background in hospitality, we found this interaction unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. What made it worse was witnessing her behavior toward other guests shortly after. When a few Western guests arrived, her demeanor completely changed—she greeted them warmly, with smiles and respect. This stark contrast made me question whether there was a double standard in how Asian and Western guests are treated.
Despite this incident, Pakasai Resort has much to offer, with its peaceful environment, eco-conscious practices, and the strong hospitality of most staff members. I would also like to kindly request that management recognizes Hakim and Ibrahim for their outstanding service, as their dedication truly made our stay memorable. Staff like them are an asset to the resort and should be rewarded for their exceptional efforts.
To Pakasai Resort management, I hope you can address inconsistencies in service to ensure every guest feels valued, respected, and welcomed equally.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel on the beach. The rooms, service and breakfast were pleasing. There are free kayaks, you can swim to the neighboring beaches. The hotel itself is located away from busy areas and shops. Therefore, you need to either take a bike, you can at the hotel, or buy everything you need in advance. Tuk-tuk does not go to this hotel, there are no taxis on the island. To get from the hotel to the north of the island you will need a hotel transfer. I liked the hotel, for a vacation for several days, in silence and almost no people on the beach.
YYoTravelBoiyHotel was nice and clean. Suitable for families with small kids.
Location wise, not near to Ao Nang central but walking around 15-20 mins to there or opposite side Aonang landmarm.
Infront hotel tourist information counter and on the right give good price but depends on the travel company. But all good.
Have swimming pool and also slides.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a good price and the deluxe premier room with a balcony tub is wonderful. As with any 5 star resort hotel, it’s further out of town and grab/taxi takes a while to get but you can schedule in advance.
Food in the hotel is good. Lots of choice. Slightly on the pricier side but still not too bad.
Spa and massage is very expensive (for Thailand massage price) so we have that a miss. 2,000 thb head massage for 60min. Bangkok would be half of that. This includes happy hour 10-2pm 30% discount.
Full body 3k.
But having a jacuzzi on the balcony of the room was very worth it.
Breakfast is great.
Would I say here again? Yes!
Is it 5 star? Yes!
Is it value for money? Yes!
Just be prepared for longer travel distance and time and slightly more expensive food and drinks and spa.
P.s. it’s on the beach directly!! A smaller boutique 5* resort. Pools are nice and overall resort didn’t feel crowded.

KKusumahadiWe have our fantastic stay in the resort. The room is spacious and clean. The facilitiy is absolutely great. 2 pools with different scenary, one hills and another one beach. Also a great value of money. Only one the flush in our room didn’t work well, but just minor. Overall, great resort and recommended.
GGuest UserFrom the moment I arrived, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of superb. The service was truly outstanding; every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a genuine smile, making me feel genuinely valued as a guest. I even got upgraded into suites room.
The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. My room was spotless upon arrival and meticulously maintained throughout my stay. The common areas, too, were gleaming, reflecting a high standard of hygiene that put me completely at ease.
The facilities here are excellent and cater to every need. Whether it was the well-equipped fitness center, the refreshing pool, or the pickleball pitch, everything was well-maintained and contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
And finally, the breakfast deserves a special mention. It was an absolute delight! The variety of options, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties, was impressive, and the quality of the food was consistently high. It was the perfect start to each day.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay where every detail is taken care of with the utmost care and professionalism. I can't wait to return!
