This tour provides you a great overview of Kumasi and the Asante people. We especially liked Okomfo Anokye Sword Site. We can recommend the tour.

Reviews: Kumasi: City Tour

really good and easy way to see the sights of Kumasi. I enjoyed the Palace tour, sword site and Prempeh museum. All gave a real flavour of Asanti culture and history. We didn't do the market visit as it was apparently closed for sanitisation (happens once a month) although we drove through the outside edges of it in the streets around.
