Reviews: Top of Rome Experience: Shore Excursion from Civitavecchia

An absolutely fantastic experience in Rome! The tour was very well organized, and we saw some amazing places while learning a lot about the history of Rome. But what really made this experience special was our guide, Manu. Manu was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining. He didn’t just give us historical facts — he brought the history to life with interesting stories, anecdotes and a great sense of humor. He was also very friendly and made sure that everyone in our family, including our children, stayed interested and involved throughout the tour. You can really tell that Manu loves what he does, and that makes a huge difference. Thanks to him, visiting Rome was not just sightseeing, but a truly memorable experience. Thank you, Manu, for an amazing day! We would definitely recommend this tour, and if you get the chance to have Manu as your guide, you are in for a real treat! 🇮🇹❤️

Fantastic day going to Sorreno, limoncello tasting then Pompeii. Sorrento was the best bit, with cute little streets. Our coach was comfortable. Made a pit stop on the way there and on the way back. Our guide, Giovanni was excellent, was always on hand to answer questions, not only about Pompeii & Sorrento, but also about Rome, Italy, other places to visit. We felt very well looked after. Lunch was cheap and cheerful (for only €15 what more can you expect?). Our Pompeii guide, Francesco was also fantastic and funny. Highly recommend this trip.

Reviews: Rome: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Guided Small-Group Tour
Guest User2026-10-08
The tour guide (don’t remember her name, sorry) was excellent with a deep knowledge of art history and the pieces we saw. She explained the art thoroughly in a historical context and answered our questions. She focused on Caravaggio,Bernini, and Titian as they are featured prominently in the exhibit. The Villa Borghese is a magnificent space and I highly recommend this tour.
