My parents were visiting Beijing for the first time, and the Great Wall and the two national parks were must-sees. We were worried we wouldn't be able to fully explore them on our own, so we joined the tour. The weather was nice and sunny, but we needed to bring some autumn clothing. The elderly had very positive feedback, and the itinerary was well-paced. Liu Depeng, our guide for the two national parks, was especially lively and engaging. The elders commented that if history teachers were like him, no one would fall asleep. Overall, we were very satisfied. On the way back, we took the subway to Xidan and ate at Siji Minfu, where the lines were minimal.★

The day before the tour, I received an email. Originally, I applied for a tour at 8 am, but the off-season season, and the People's Congress, etc. overlapped with various situations, so I started with the tour at 10 am. Still, the guide came in advance and I was able to communicate with the guide. We decided to take a tour with our suitcase because of the flight time, and we decided to take a taxi first in the middle. On the day of the tour, he mixed Chinese and English and took good care of the whole staff, and he continued to care about us who had to leave first. Thanks to you, I was able to see the Great Wall and get on the plane without delay! Thank you!★

It was the peak season so there’s just too many people but overall we enjoyed our first time visiting Badaling Great Wall. Be careful climbing the steep steps of the wall; without people around is already a challenge but with that much people; well agility is a must too. Anyways our guide is very helpful too and we enjoyed the overall experience. Half day is enough since basically you are just climbing the same thing unless you love the challenge of walking 2 to 3 km of walk.★

Great guide (Mike) and a fantastic tour organization! I recommend taking the tour with lunch; you won't regret it. It's great that the tour doesn't stop and everything is clear and understandable. We had some time issues, and the organizer allowed us to reschedule the tour for 10:00 AM.
