We had chance to visit a pottery farm. We did a workshop during our recent trip to Cappadocia, as a famous area for its pottery traditions, and getting the chance to see the process firsthand—and even try it ourselves—was unforgettable!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome. They were warm, friendly. They offered us tea and turkey coffe gave a brief but fascinating introduction to the history of pottery in the region.
We were then guided through the workshop, where we saw master artisans at work. One of the potter gave a live demonstration using a traditional kick-wheel, which was impressive to watch.
But the best part was when We got to try making our own pottery! With their patient guidance, we were able to shape our own little pieces on the wheel. It was fun and gave us a real appreciation for the artistry involved.
There was also a beautiful gallery with finished pieces available for purchase.
This workshop added something truly special to our trip. It wasn’t just about sightseeing—it was about connecting with the local culture and traditions in a hands-on way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cappadocia, especially if you're interested in crafts or want to try something a bit different.★

In order to sit on the romantic hot air balloon, we waited for two days, in fact, it was not cost-effective, but in the spirit of coming, we still decided to bite the teeth or decide to have rough hair, the actual sight is also very good, but not as spectacular as others, although the heart has touched but can not be said to be shocking. Cappadocia's day trip is divided into two choices: the red line and the green line. Personally recommend the green line, the combination of humanities and nature, and it is very comfortable to walk down in a day. The underground city view is amazing, such as the one-hour hiking route is arranged reasonably and appropriately. The tour guide is also very good, from the culture to the story introduction is very detailed, the people are also very interesting, I will find her next time.★
