Excellent communication before the tour and our driver Eko was punctual, polite and spoke excellent English. First we visited Prambanan temple where Eko arranged a private tour guide for us. The guide spoke English well and explained a lot about the Hindu gods and stories as we walked around the temple. Afterwards, we went to the Marapi Volcano area for the jeep tour. Unfortunately the weather was very cloudy so we didn’t have good views of the volcano but it was fun to have the jeep ride. Then, we drove to Borobudur area where we had a lunch stop before visiting the temple. At all times Eko looked after us, sorting entrance tickets and keeping us informed of timings. At Borobudur, we toured as a group and it does feel a little touristy but this is the rule of the temple so there isn’t an alternative. Really interesting though and some amazing views and photos from the top. All in all we had a great day and I would highly recommend borobudursunrise.com and their driver Eko.

Sholi was excellent - spent 4 days with us - from airport pick up to drop off. We did many temples and other cultural visits. Temples are great - he arranged everything which meant we had a completely hassle free and very easy holiday. Definitely recommend
