Our guide, Fotis, was amazing—so knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He explained the history and culture in such an engaging way and really brought the whole city to life. I loved the depth and detail he shared—it made the experience unforgettable. Everything was well organized, and I felt like I got so much more out of the tour than I expected. Parts of the museum were closed due to staff shortages which was a shame. The museum shop was closed as well. When standing in line in front of the museum there was no separate line for people with tickets, so you had to listen carefully for a member of staff to softly call out for the people with tickets to come forward. It was crowded and the explanation next to the art is written in black letters on a grey background so you had to strain your eyes and read from up close which was not easyJet to do with a lot of people around. Beautiful art, but not such a great experience.
