This is a must do in Bali! Waking up at 2am was hard but it was so worth it. The view was amazing! That sunset brought on some emotions, it was absolutely beautiful! The black lava rocks were also amazing to see! The guide that picked me up in the morning was one of the kindest people I’ve ever come across, I happen to mention I like coffee and he made a quick stop at a local coffee place for me to buy the best coffee on the way back. The jeep guide was also so knowledgeable about the area and made the trip extra fun with some good music. Both went above and beyond to ensure I enjoy the day.Overall, it was a really great, once in a lifetime experience! If you’re in Bali and you’re not doing this, you’re definitely missing out!★

I would rate this experience 5 out of 5, but mainly thanks to the driver who picked us up early in the morning and later took us to the coffee plantation — he was excellent. Friendly, engaging, and shared interesting information along the way.
Unfortunately, the young driver who actually took us up to Mount Batur was not at the same level. The car was very old and shabby — while other groups had nice, colorful jeeps (red, yellow, well-maintained), ours looked run-down and worn out. He tried his best, but his English was quite limited and he clearly lacked experience as a guide. When it came to taking photos, he offered what he could, but compared to the other guides we saw — who knew many poses, encouraged couples, and created fun moments — it was obvious he still has a lot to learn.
I truly hope he will take these points into account and improve over time. For now, my 5-star rating goes to the first driver who was fantastic, but I believe with more practice the Batur driver will als★

Very good experience, all terrain cross-country, along the rice fields, streams, caves, waterfalls, children like it very much. There are many people in the summer vacation. The first one we went to at 8:30 in the morning, and there were few people without sunning. It is recommended to bring socks and boots for recycling, which is wet and smelly.
