Reviews: Andorra, France and Spain: The Original Three Countries Tour
Guest User2025-08-25
Our trip was a very small group so we didn’t feel lost in a huge group. Xavi, our guide, was very warm and knowledgeable. He shared pertinent details and was very patient with our group. His restaurant recommendations were all spot on and we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant he recommended for dinner after our tour was over. Our driver David, did a great job taking us safely throughout the journey. Definitely recommend 👍
Reviews: Costa Brava & Medieval Village Tour with Lunch
Guest User2025-09-25
My two adult children (early 20s) and I enjoyed this trip. Our guide, whose name I can't remember, was knowledgeable and friendly. At the first stop, we had 2-2.5 hours of "free time" to spend a the beach and/or the Marimurtra Botanical Garden. We chose to spend some time at the Marimurtra Botanical Garden before going to the beach. The garden/flora was okay, but nothing special. For the three of us, the highlight was the Linnaeus Pavilion and the beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. If you're not interested in flowers, I would still recommend visiting Marimurtra just for this. We had a snack and drinks at he cafe, but it was very, very slow, so unless you're desperate, I wouldn't bother - pack your own snacks and drinks for the trip. The walk to the beach from the garden, on the scenic path, was longer than I expected (about 15-20 mins), but the view was worth it. This was my first time to a Mediterranean beach and I wish we'd spent less time at the garden, so we could have had more time at the beach. Keep in mind you have to factor in time to change out of wet bathing suits and climb the long steps back to the bus by the meeting time. The itinerary said on our way to lunch, we would stop at the Castle of Sant Joan, but I don't recall that we did stop. I could be wrong, but I don't seem to have any photos of it either. Lunch was at a cute restaurant in a lovely setting. The food was pretty good - choose wisely. The patatas bravas appetizer was a hit with many people, as was the steak. My daughter and I had melon with traditional ham for the appetizer - not to our taste, but that's just us. My main course was a type of fish I can't remember, and although I usually love fish, I didn't like this one. Dessert was very good. After lunch we drove to Tossa de Mar where you could explore on your own, or take a short tour with the guide to the old town and the lighthouse. From there, you have free time to explore the rest of Tossa de Mar. There was a very nice photo opportunity that is apparently a well known Instagram location. Some people, not from our tour, were taking more time than they should have, causing a long line to build up. We almost didn't have a chance to take our photos as we had to get back to the bus. Our trip didn't last as long as the itinerary said. We arrived back in Barcelona maybe an hour before the schedule time. All in all, I would recommend this tour to others who want to see some highlights of the Costa Brava without having to figure out train schedules/transportation. Remember to dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring snacks and drinks if you think you'll be hungry on the bus. You can also buy food in Tossa de Mar and shop for souvenirs. Always remember, when on a group tour it's really important that you arrive on time at the beginning of the day and at every stop when it's time to get on the bus. It's very frustrating when you have to wait for people who can't be bothered to keep track of the time.
Reviews: Barcelona 3-hour Bike Tour: Highlights and Hidden Gems
Guest User2025-07-13
It was an amazing way to see key landmarks and Misha was an amazing guide. He made us feel safe with clear directions about how to navigate the city on bike. There are clearly marked pathways for bikes and the traffic and pedestrians were patient. We even had a downpour of rain which made for a memorable experience. Then Misha gave us food recommendations. It was a 10 out of 10
