The guide/owner, Ash was great. We did the city tour at a leisurely pace, never being rushed. He explains context about the city landmarks or local history in a peace meal fashion, never fact dumping and always ready to get into deeper detail when a story resonates. It's like walking the city with a friend. We had a great time.
Also, all logistics and communications were neat. ★

Communication was absolutely flawless and the guide was very accommodating and flexible. Thanks to him, this was an unforgettable experience that makes me want to come back to Kyrgyzstan.
The description talks about optional (late) lunch with the guide. It goes without saying that this is not covered by the fee – it's basically the guide offering more of his time and in return the guest pays for the meal. Now, his recommendation was a restaurant specialising in trout (baked + grilled). Unless you don't like fish, I can only recommend to go for it. Living in Japan I was skeptical, since Japan is the gold standard for all things fish, but the grilled trout was excellent.
