The shared experience exceeded our expectations. The places visited were incredibly interesting, and John really knows what he's talking about! Everything was very well organized, everyone was super professional. The traditional lunch was delicious and allowed you to experience the local cuisine. We definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn and delve into the culture, history, and geography of a place as beautiful as Panama. Even more so to those who want to experience the journey from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean Sea in a very short time! The only minor detail is that, while John speaks perfect Spanish and answered all our questions, the entire tour is conducted in English, which can be a challenge for Spanish speakers, even if we speak the language. We didn't get to go through the Panama Canal on our cruise ship, but this was a nice way to see it. We saw a large ship go through all the locks, and the tour explained how the Canal worked, which I had not known previously (I thought it was just a ditch connecting the two oceans). The tour of the Fort was interesting too, but very hot. I enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the area: a sloth, coatis, and numerous birds!

This tour was amazing! And the driver/tour guide was an absolute gem. We learnt more about Panama in 5hrs than I did about my own country 😂 This is an absolute must when coming to Panama, even if it's just for a stop over.

TAKE THIS TOUR!!! Expectations EXCEEDED!! Saw much monkeys, turtle, butterflies, turtles, frogs, sloth’s, and even a large alligator!! Rode along with container cargo ships. Juan was an EXCELLENT GUIDE!!!! Melissa was the GOAT Boat Driver!!! DON’T MISS OUT!!!


