If you want to live a beautiful experience in the sea while preserving these beautiful creatures, do not hesitate! We have seen 3 cachalottes and a fifteenth of Dauphin. Thanks to Ruben, the captain, and Florin for all the explanations (and in French) ! They are passionate.

A fabulous hike to the 25 Fontes with great support from our guide Lionel. The weather was sunny but there was a lot of shade which made it bearable and even the bits with steps were doable without getting too hot. And the scenery was AMAZING.

Daniela was our Tuk Tuk guide . She was punctual , informative and knowledgeable. She chatted to us as a friend , not a guide which I personally love . The Botanical Gardens surpassed anything I was expecting . You could spend hours up there . I would definitely recommend this tour . It’s like a 3 in 1 as you get to know loads about Funchal in the Tuk Tuk, it’s great fun and then you get to walk around a beautiful garden . You do have to pay the admission fee for the garden (€10 ) but totally worth it . Daniela dropped us off exactly where we asked which is another plus for this tour .

We did this tour last year and enjoyed it so much that we decided to go again: very friendly staff, great atmosphere, fun riding the waves, you can get a drink at the bar, opportunity to swim, and we saw dolphins. In short, fantastic!

Cristiano picked us up from the hotel on time and entertained us with great information about the region on the way to our destination. The hike took a little over three hours if you take photos everywhere. We didn't have time for a swim. But the weather was good, as it was cloudy at 20°C with a light drizzle every now and then. So the hike wasn't too strenuous. My wife, who doesn't hike very often, managed the route and enjoyed the view. In the sun, this hike is certainly a challenge. We were picked up on time at the meeting point and again entertained by Cristiano in the car on the return journey. He speaks clear English, and we understood almost everything, even though we weren't born with the language. ^^ Thanks, we'd love to do it again 🤗 Kathi and Sven


