This was a fantastic Segway tour of the Old Town.
Our guide, Theo, looked after us magnificently - he kept a great pace, was friendly and informative.
Our tour included a taste of some fantastic local chocolate and a refreshing drink in a square near city hall.
Thoroughly recommend!
It was well worth the 90 min bus ride from Heraklion (where we were staying) but if you can, buy your bus tickets ahead of time (the buses (coaches) fill up.★

We did this as part of another trip, don't sit on the inside! My partner was on the inside and all he got was a view of the other passengers, me and my son got the outstide and we had a great view. Thankfully the boat is air conditioned, it would be brutal if not.
The views were amazing, they obviously chuck food over the side to tempt the fish, and we saw lots of common types, but still fantastic! We were about 1 meter from the bottom of the sea.
I will say, I got very motion sick on it, I don't mind boats, but your essentially in the hull and the boat is flat bottomed, if you do tend to get a bit queesy on rides/drives etc, probably skip it.★

We had a wonderful time with George. We drove through the mountains, via olive groves and vineyards to Knossos Palace. George introduced us to a guide for the Palace, Maria, who was excellent. Throughout the tour George informed us of everything from how olive oil is made to the occupations by the Venetians and Turks. The Cathedral of St Minas was utterly spectacular and after visiting the Castello George showed us some restaurants with a view that also served delicious food. A thoroughly enjoyable day.
