I saw a promotion at the WM Hotel for $380 per person. I also asked the boat operators at Sai Kung Pier, and they all quoted $360 per person. The boat only departs at 12:00 PM, requiring a minimum number of people. Wanting to avoid the sun, I signed up for a 9:00 PM boat tour with my son.
The boat departed promptly at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning, with a total of 10 people, including the guide and crew.
It took only 5 minutes to reach Sharp Island. The tour took about half an hour, and since we were traveling with a foreigner, the guide patiently explained the island in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. We learned about the history of this volcanic rock formation in Sai Kung, covering an area of 20 square kilometers. We also explored the different rock formations and the principles behind their hexagonal formations. It felt like a truly meaningful tour for both adults and children. We understood the significance of each area much better than those who simply sign up at the pier. My son and I hiked up to the Pobian Island scenic spot yesterday to check in. The uphill and downhill paths were uneven and the sun was scorching, leaving us exhausted. This boat tour was so much more comfortable. The speedboat ride was thrilling and refreshing. As we reached the various rock formations, the guide and captain patiently let us take photos. The guide was truly five stars, and he was incredibly helpful. The captain said that at our 9:00 departure time, the wind was calm enough to allow us to get close to the rocks and take photos for so long, two out of ten times. The weather was perfect, with blue skies and white clouds. We were very lucky.
On the boat tour, after listening to the commentary, I realized that the back of the 500-yuan note wasn't Pobian Island. More than 80% of people get it wrong, haha. It was somewhere nearby. We did both the land and sea tours, and both the Pobian Island scenic area and the volcanic rock area are beautiful. If you have the energy, do the hike, or if you don't, do the boat tour. I think both are worth it.
I'll definitely participate again next time there's such an activity. Thank you, guide and captain.★

The tour guide is very enthusiastic, professional and patient. Every attraction takes us personally, explaining while walking, and always helping us take pictures. The fare includes the cable car fee and the cost of the big cruise ship. A very spacious bus and a driver pick us up. I feel that they should not have much money left at all, but the tour guide is still so enthusiastic and serious, thank you! ! The price is very high, 🤝🤝😊😊★

The boat owners were very good. They confirmed with the guests 10 minutes in advance how long it would take to get to the pier! Unfortunately, we really didn't catch the 19:50 boat on time because of traffic jam in the tunnel. The next step was to discuss with the boat owner whether we could change to the 8:30 boat. The lady said, if you really can't make it, then I can only change you to the next boat. After the change, she called me 3 times to confirm and asked if we can definitely catch it? Very responsible. Ctrip's customer service was also very timely and gave me follow-up feedback. Because my relative was sent to the Central Pier, I had to change to the boat on the evening of the 16th. In short, the service industry in Hong Kong is no longer as indifferent as before, nor is it as high-handed as before. Now mainland compatriots are treated like gods. This boat is the cutest because there is a cute inflatable baby on the bow! Free mineral water and drinks are given on the boat, and the little sister will come up to serve you again at the Central Pier and ask if you want a drink! Absolutely awesome.★

This experience absolutely deserves a five-star rating! Their desserts are especially impressive—the Napoleon pastry is crispy and creamy, absolutely amazing! The crepes are also made to perfection, sweet but not overly sweet. 🍰
Even better, the desserts are replenished incredibly quickly, so you never miss out! The seafood section's sashimi and cold cuts are incredibly fresh, as if fresh from the sea. The hot dishes are incredibly easy to choose from, with both Chinese and Western options available. Overall, the quality of the ingredients and the service are impeccable. I can't think of so many people on weekdays, food is not lost, the variety is sufficient at this price. Snail shrimp one each, roasted naked eye, four kinds of fish raw, Dongyin Gong noodle soup, Chinese and Western soup, cold plate, hot plate, pig's feet ginger unexpectedly many people eat, I most appreciate six movenpick ice cream, with lemon black tea, and friends to gather together to talk about the day
