This was a good value trip, packing in several things we’d wanted to see.
We got just about the right amount of time at each part of the program and the lunch which was included was a buffet style of authentic Egyptian dishes, which is what we had hoped for.
Our Egyptian Guide Mohamed was pleasant and knowledgeable and we got on well with him.
Our only slight disappointment was that in our group the majority of people were French-speaking and only two couples spoke English. Whilst we both accepted that our guide would naturally converse more with the larger group, for the majority of the time the two English-speaking couples felt a little isolated. Other than this we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.★

I had been to Luxor several times before and each time been amazed and captivated by the history. Having a week in Hurghada made me think that it would be great to go back and see Luxor again.
I did not really want the 4.00-5.00 hotel pick up of a regular excursion, so I decided to book a private tour.
Driver picked me up on time at 7.00 and I was surprised that he was Luxor based so had left home at 02.00! He was very friendly and offered me drinks. The car could do with a bit of an upgrade but it was ok.
Arrived in Luxor for 11.00 and met up with the guide. His English was good and we got straight into Valley of the Kings and he recommended the best 3 tombs to see that were included on the ticket.
Then to Hatshepsut Temple a short ride away and again quick entry and enough time to look around.
Then over the new bridge to Karnak Temple - really shortening the travel time between the 2 sides of the Nile. Guide was again very informative.
Before I knew it, it was 16.00 and time to set off back with a back up driver. The first one still came all the way back though - but it is good he was not driving all the way 4 times in one day!
Could really do without the obligatory stop at the alabaster show room and workshop, and i would have preferred the extra 30 minutes for example to see the Colossi of Memnon.
But all up a highly recommended tour. Long day and tiring, but well worth it.★

Can’t fault the company at all, from our first contact with Mahmoud everything ran absolutely perfectly. Our driver Youssef was fantastic, provided us with a pack of crisps each, some fizzy drinks and plenty of bottled water. There was no waiting around, at each stop he was there ready for us, in his air conditioned van. My daughter accidentally left her iPad on the bus and the following day he kindly returned it to our hotel. Our guide Mohammed’s (Luxor) English was very good and he spoke to us in the shade at each stop where possible, explaining the history thoroughly, he also told us to stay close to him and the sellers at each place wouldn’t bother us as much, this worked, they are just trying to make some money but it can become very annoying. We left our hotel at 5am and was back at hotel by 7pm. A tip for anyone would be to make sure you take Egyptian money, each stop for toilet cost us 20 EGP each (about 30p).
